Great family owned business- they always take good care of my vehicles and shoot straight with needed repairs and costs.

For over two years, I have battled an air bag sensor issue in my 2014 VW Passat. In those two years, I have spent nearly $2,000 dollars, most of that money going down a black hole as dealers and other smaller businesses charged me upward of $500 a pop each time I brought my car in. For under $400, this business diagnosed the problem, got the part, fixed the issue and sent me on my way in less than forty-eight hours. The difference was they told me straight out what my issues were by the diagnostic number--no imperious patronizing, thank you--advised what parts were needed and treated me as if I, as a single woman, were capable of understanding the mechanism causing the problem. The waiting area is clean and comfortable if you have to wait while they work on your car. I can't say enough good things about this small, family business except to say they've been in business for over thirty years. Their treatment of me is the reason why. I highly recommend these folks. Came in to have my brakes checked did not charge me for a brake inspection and also said my brakes were fine. Normally a woman comes in by herself. They're gonna take advantage not this place. They have a customer for Life now. read more

Finally, Finally, Finally! I have found a good honest automobile service facility. I was told by a Cadillac dealer that my brakes should be changed right away at 4 mm and 5 mm pad thickness . Not knowing anything about brakes, I decided to take it to Complete Automotive because they have a $89.95 per axle coupon. I dropped it off. the next day Joe called me and left a voice mail to call him about the brakes. I thought, Oh ok, here we go! I called and spoke with Joe, and he said that He would really like to sell me a brake job, but that the brakes DID Not need replaced! I was in Awe...... So the dealer tried to sell me a $700 Brake job with a Brake fluid flush, which did NOT NEED to be done! Needless to say, that I will not be using that dealer for any more service and will take my vehicles to Complete automotive care in the future! read more

I have been taking my Subaru Legacy (05) to Complete Automotive for about a year and a half and the work has been excellent every time. They go out of their way to explain any problems and the repair process. Most recently when my AC stopped working (in the Florida summer heat) they fit me in without an appointment, finding the needed spare part in their shop - to restore the AC the same afternoon - until the permanent part arrived later in the week. This place is great! I was taking my explorer to a place(Consumer Car Care) that was charging me way too much and apparently for things that weren't even wrong with my car. He(Dave) was basically taking advantage of the fact that I knew nothing about cars. Which is a terrible thing to do. Learned my lesson and I'm so glad I found this shop. I have been going to Complete Automotive Care now for about 4 years, give or take, for all service for both of our Chevy Impalas. I have to say that Greg Gruner and his staff provide superior customer service when it comes to taking care of your car. I live a good 30 minutes away from his shop, BUT I will drive that 30 minutes to get my oil changed, and anything else that needs to be done. We taken our Subaru to Complete Automotive many time. It has over 100,000 miles on it. The last time it was due for some routine maintenance, new brakes, and Greg did a engine flush. Our car with its high miles runs great. They have reasonable prices and don't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I don't need. They are a long drive for me, but it is worth the drive to take it some place I know I can trust and who does quality work. They also have always stood behind all of the work they done for me and most or all (not sure) is covered by a nationwide warranty. read more

We were skeptical as we have had several poor experiences with companies as we have multiple vehicles. We elected to visit the shop and were delightfully surprised by the warmth of the owner Greg Gruner. I drive 28 miles round trip from Pasco County just to get an oil change because I won't take my car anywhere else! I met Greg and Joe through business networking groups and thought to myself - "if they come to these meetings each week and know that they will be running into us on a regular basis, they will certainly try do a good job since their personal reputations are on the line." I've had very positive experiences with the shop. I live in Tampa but will occasionally need automotive care for my mother-in-law's car (she's in Brooksville). They've worked on an old Ford Ranger and a Kia Sorento and, in both cases, did a great job getting her up on running. The problem with the Sorento was particularly difficult since it was electrical. They went far beyond expectations with regards to the amount of time and effort they put into fixing the car's electrical problem. They also made recommendations for other services that we might consider but were never pushy about up-selling. In fact, they were very upfront about our family incurring expenses that might not be worth incurring considering the age of the car.
