Great customer service!! The lounge area was nice and decorated very beautiful. Felt really welcome. Our room was upstairs with a nice king size bed. The bed was very comfortable. The room was comfortably and clean. Lots of pillows and towels to use. They had a desk area for me to work my laptop on. Oh they have a strong pressure on the shower! Like really strong but it was a nice long shower. We slept like a baby that night. The hotel clerk in the morning was also very sweet. She printed out some paper work I needed for the road. After ringing the bell multiple times and finally being helped, I was told my online reservation was not for the room I had booked, despite having confirmation. The owner attemped to change what I had reserved and then proceeded to charge my card three separate times, for three separate rooms. When I politely asked why I had been charged multiple times, the owner became hostile, raised his voice, and handled the situation in a very unprofessional manner. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, he made the interaction uncomfortable and confrontational. To make matters worse, I was informed that I would have to pay an additional fee for each one of my kids, resulting in even more unexpected charges on top of the three that were already placed on my card. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was just as disappointing as the customer service. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, the carpets had clearly not been vacuumed, an there was dust throughout the room. The bathroom was especially unsanitary, with dog hair covering the toilet and dead bugs on the floor. It was not a clean or safe environment, especially for a family traveling with kids. Overall, this was one of the WORST hotel experiences I have ever had. Between the excessive and questionable charges, the hostile behavior from the owner, and the filthy condition of the room, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
