This hotel is in decline. I will not stay there again. At 6:00 a.m., I finished my workout in the exercise room (equipment not so clean, no cleaning wipes, no hand sanitizer, a used ketchup packet was on the treadmill, water dispenser unplugged), an employee was starting to mop the foyer, as I walked by, I noticed the mop water was filthy; it looked liked yesterday's mop water. My first room had mold around tub, broken shampoo dispenser, and stained curtains. The 1st floor hallway carpet had stains and didn't looked like it had been vacuumed recently. read more

It was bad, it doesn't deserve a number. Dirty, staff were inattentive to customers needs. The children of one of the employees were holding up the elevator, using it to play, running thru the halls, and slamming the door. Wont be back. read more

This hotel is disgusting, unsafe, filthy, dirty, unhealthy..... and yes, I have pictures for proof. I stayed in room 216 . First impression: 1. The elevator was disgusting. the carpet looked like oil changes were done on the floor. Note negative comments from previous guest's reviews. 2. Inside room 216 ..... DISAPPOINTING, DISGUSTING. The bathroom door and closet doors were filthy, hand prints, and filthy smudges on the doors. 3. The room door secondary door lock was ripped out of the door. 4. The toilet seat was broken with raw wood,splinters to sit on, and was broken on the bottom. 5. The shower heads jets were so clog with gunk , slime to restrict the water flow it was ridiculouslous. 6. Black mold visible on tub, on caulk, corners of tub, wall. UNHEALTHY AND UNSAFE!!! 7. Wires hanging out of the wall around the t.v. I would stay clear of this hotel, I even tried to contact the general manager (Jordon Kelley), and his attitude was obvious why this property was so unsafe,filthy, and unhealthy.... He could have cared less.... I am currently filing a complaint with the health department / state AG in Kansas. I have enclosed the pictures as I have mentioned..... Stayed in this hotel for two days and the first night had already been filled of disgust. Within the first minute or two of being in the room a cockroach that crawled behind the desk and multiple other dead bugs on the ground. The sofas and other chairs in the room were filthy. The bathroom smelt like actual mold and had beeb continuing to smell like that. There were multiple bugs on the bathroom floor which made it seem as if the room was infested. Don't stay here unless you want to be greeted with roaches, bugs, or mold. read more

The in room Jacuzzi was nice but definitely book an appointment with your chiropractor after sleeping in this bed. I've never ever slept on a more uncomfortable bed in my entire life. I literally put pillows on the floor and slept on it and it was more comfortable than the mattress!!!! read more

Overall pretty gross hotel. There are mysterious stains everywhere. When I got to my room it was obvious that the bathroom had not been cleaned and smelled like it had been used fairly recently by someone with a sour stomach. I would avoid this place. Did not find bedbugs but this was the first hotel that I really felt that I needed to give the bed the ol' once over before laying down. This is a really nice hotel in a great location. Near the highway and restaurants. Cones with breakfast included with a variety of items including eggs, fruit, biscuits and gravy plus a lot of other items. read more

So tired of the "nobody smokes in our rooms" conversation with hotels when I know I smell smoke. And not one time smoke. This time? Proof. Butts in the trash can of a "cleaned room" along with a spit cup and beer bottle and case. New room? Smells like heavy smoke. read more

I stayed at the Comfort Inn near Bethel College on November 12th. I was originally given room 316 that had bed bugs, after requesting to change rooms the front desk agent blamed the bed bugs on the neighboring hotel. After insisting on getting another room I was placed in room 201, which upon entering already had a guest sleeping in the bed. I immediately left that room, however that was a very dangerous situation. I requested a refund so I could stay somewhere else, however the agent said she was unable to give me a refund due to policy and placed me in room 323. In the room 3 out of the 5 pillow cases had dirt stains and the heater made a loud screeching noise if you attempted to turn it on, so the choice was be warm but not sleep because of the noise or be cold because it is 35 degrees outside. I initially paid $160 for the room, after reaching out to corporate the best they could do is give me $70, $90 short of my original payment and they couldn't give me a reason why they couldn't do a full refund. I highly recommend staying elsewhere, this place was unsafe, dirty, and had multiple malfunctions. read more

I won't stay here again. I got into my room, opened the bathroom door (as it was completely shut) and was overwhelmed by a nasty musty smell. I found the culprit....pretty purple mold!! All but one of my towels had a nasty yellow stain. Oh, and you better be one of the first to breakfast! They only had a few purses of bacon, and maybe 4 cups of gravy for biscuits. I was the first one and the gal that came in after me had to ask for more bacon because she had 2 others coming down to join her. I did tell the front desk about the bathroom and she didn't seem too concerned. read more

We stayed in a king room for an evening while we waited for our middle-of-the-night Amtrak. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable, and they gave you 4 pillows for a king bed. They had a comfortable upholstered chair with footrest. The desk had a rolling office chair. It was clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice, although there were some large chips in the bathroom. I would stay again, however. The price was pretty good and the staff was friendly. read more

Not happy with this place. They don't even deserve a star! They totally messed up my reservation and charged me way more then what I was told when I reserved my room. The manger was suppose to talk to me and did not even come up to talk to me or call me. Our room had a nasty musk mildew smell when you ran the air conditioner, there were stains on the foot stool of my mother in law's chair in her room. The only good thing about this hotel was housing keep was nice to us! read more

Saturday night 07/16/2016, we did at very late check in about 12:30AM. after driving since 6AM. We had asked for a king size bed and couch for my son to sleep on. Loaded luggage up to the room and find a bed and a chair. Lugged our belongings back down and waited another 15 minutes. Finally got into the correct room and needed to call down for linens. Waited another 30 minutes for these. Finally got to sleep about 2ish then about 5: 30 the phone rings from the front desk for a "Sterling" , advised no Sterling here. Another half hour later the phone rings again for "Sterling" , come to find out this is their maintenance man and the front desk is calling for him.... no more sleep. Time to check out at 06:15 am and not return. Incompetence at its finest!!!! read more
