Great steak sandwiches. Everything is good, you will not be disappointed. Tea might be too sweet, get half and half.

We went with my brother and his wife and daughter to eat at Pat's place, a beloved Americus tradition. I cannot remember a time in my life when Pat's place was not open. It actually is about the same age as I am. It got it started as a biker bar years and years and years ago, and then it transformed into a college hangout. Only most of the patrons are people who never went to Georgia Southwestern or they graduated so long ago that they're now retired from their jobs. So it kinda is a college bar just for people who graduated from college in 1980. My wife ordered a garden salad and we got some nachos and I got a Reuben with chips and an order of chicken wings. It was $75. And I've got to tell you none of it was anything special. You could get a better Reuben out of a sandwich machine. And if you don't order extra meat, what you end up with is a sauerkraut sandwich. The chicken wings they were Tysons chicken wings from a bag and they tasted like the dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets that my nieces eat. My nieces are under 10 years old. The nachos were mini Tostitos with a couple of three different cups of things served with them. The chili was OK. The guacamole was OK. The cheese sauce was nacho cheese sauce. Think about this as concession stand nachos or school lunchroom nachos. My wife's salad was delicious looking it was very good. She enjoyed it and it was a great deal. The rest of the meal was total garbage. And for $75 I expected better. Not a drop of beer was consumed. $75 included two cokes. And you have to bus your own table when you're finished. The service is always very good, they bring your food to your table after you order it at the bar. And it's not a proper bar either. It's just beer, I guess you could have a glass of wine but it's mostly beer and soft drinks. They're not putting on any airs at Pat. They're just charging too much.

So we've passed by here a few times and we just missed it before closing time so on this last adventure we made sure we would make it and let me say I'm stoked we did! They have a grocery side of the store that has a ton of canned and jar goodies along with some super random stuff like that blooming onion kit I bought which I couldn't be more stoked to use sooner than later! Then comes the meat area where you can find a ton of seasonings, sauces, and the meat where they have mostly pork products but also a decent selection of other meat as well! So we bought some sausage patty's, some ground jalapeno cheddar sausage, and some of the snack sticks to enjoy on the ride home and I must say the sticks were super yummy my favorite being the garlic Parmesan one but the real kicker here is that ground sausage that is definitely some of the best sausage I've ever had it's packed with flavor and just hit the spot! We without a doubt will be back here again in to pickup what's totally yummy next time I just know to make more freezer space at home because they have just too much good stuff to pass up!

This restaurant is beautifully decorated! It could very well fit in at theme parks, like Universal Studios. It's Clean, spacious, lighting on the dimmer side. It's a fantastic date night spot. We were blessed to have Diamond tending to us, and she was outstanding! Customer Service doesn't get any better than what she gave. I imagine she'd be just as great if the place were absolutely slammed. Our food was pretty basic. We got spicy fried wings as an appetizer. They were pretty good. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo had small bits of white meat chicken, and not a lot of it. We also had a 14oz Ribeye, collards, & mashed potatoes. All the food was ok. Not good enough to rave about, not bad enough to complain about. Just basic . I'm glad I finally checked it out though. The overall experience was worth the visit. If you're ever in this area, you should stop by:)
