After talking with a few companies and reading reviews, we ended up choosing Red Desert to replace the flooring for our entire house. Through the process we were impressed by everyone we met and dealt with. This business goes the extra mile to help you get things right, from letting you bring home samples, to expertise about products, and then maybe most important, standing behind their work and making sure you're satisfied. We were out of town while they did the work, but they kept in touch with me throughout. When we returned it all looked amazing, but we have a miscommunication about the type of trim we wanted. Some companies would give you the run around or just say, too bad. Red Desert was at our house the following day and took care of it, no problem. The guys who came out, like everyone I dealt with at Red Desert, were super friendly and professional. They even refused to take a tip for the job. On top of the exceptional quality and professionalism, Red Desert's pricing was also better than their competitors. They didn't use enough rhiinset so now not only one but.neighboring porcelain tiles are becoming loose. Very disappointed that I spend $30k for my floors with this company and they won't stand behind the work. Very shoddy and unprofessional. read more

BUYER BEWARE ! Do not use Red Desert. They started a job almost 3 months ago & abanded the job without finishing. Leaving 1 of the shower walls without any tile. In their quote,they state they are using Schluter materials for waterproofing,charging over $1000. They used a product from Amazon which costs $60 a roll!! The quality is absolutely horrible. The shower drain that was installed leaves standing water. The owner does not return calls or offer to replace the slab that they cracked installing. They cracked 6 slabs & only replaced 1. We supplied all materials. Prior to hiring,I specifically asked if they were an expert in porcelain slab installs. Mo( install manager) assured 100% they can install successfully. Wonderful experience from sales through installation! They installed vinyl planks in our entire house, removing carpet and old laminate, and completed the job in the estimated 1.5 week timeline. We expected that replacing all the flooring throughout the house was going to be disruptive but we found Noah and his crew to be very respectful of our space and belongings and took care to make it as comfortable as possible for us. Unfortunately for them our HVAC system failed and they worked under extreme heat conditions as temps were in the triple digits, but they were professional throughout. They did a fabulous job! They took out the old stuff, (much quicker than I anticipated), and installed the new vinal plank flooring, all in about a day and a half. Much quicker than the three or four days I was expecting. The new flooring is beautiful. (but FYI, lock away your valuable's, (not just out of sight) as with any work that you have strangers in your house. (my 8.000-dollar job ended up costing me closer to 9.000.) read more

This was a big project to include my living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and 2 bathrooms. That meant that everything from those rooms, except my couch, 2 chairs, dining table and appliances were moved into my bedrooms, making them inaccessible for the duration of the project. Pros: Excellent craftsmanship. Wes and his crew are very good and did an excellent job. When I had issues, Wes was responsive and didn't make any excuses. They did a great job with all of the finishing touches and they were very respectful and pleasant throughout the project. Cons: There was little to no consideration for the disruption to my life as they drug the project out for 4 days. The first day they showed up about 9:30, took an hour lunch and ended their day by 2:30 (About 4 hours). I complained and they showed up at 8am the next day, took 1 1/2 hour lunch, started clean up at 2:30 and left by 3:00 (about 5 hours). I complained again about the short work day, so on the 3rd day, they came at 8am and worked very hard until 4:30. On the 4th day, they finished my kitchen and laundry, in about 5 hours. My recommendation, get a timeline and hold them to it, especially if you have a big project and if you have to live in it. It was very evident that if they worked an 8 hour day like the rest of us, the job would have been completed in 3 days. read more

Red Desert Flooring was one of three firms I contacted about removing existing ceramic tile and carpet from our home and installing over 1,000 sq ft of carpet and 980 sq ft of glazed porcelain tile. Wes quickly responded to my call and within a few days visited our home to measure for a quote. It was obvious that Wes was a real pro and I was pleased when he provided a detailed quote that was considerably less than other quotes I received. Wes was easy to work with and always was quick to return my calls. His crew was fantastic. They removed the existing tile and carpet so renovation work could be done and when we were ready they returned and installed the tile and carpet in just three days.
