After 3 weeks (Sept 5, 2025) of ZERO communication from them (I was the one calling and chasing them!) I ended up having to find someone else as it was August and we needed air as my parents are elderly. On top of that, it wasn't even what they said it was, it ended up being a $100 fix not the "about $900" (unofficial verbal quote) that they guy threw out there. Second incident happened last month (April 8, 2026). We had another claim for our freezer, guy came out and looked at it, told us it needed a part and that he would submit the info to the warranty co. and be back with us in 24-48 hrs. He collected the service call fee and was in the wind from there. I called them several times through the course of the month. Again they NEVER called me to let me know what was up and never returned my calls. I got some lame excuse from the nice lady answering the phone about a dog dying... I get that and its sad but this is business. Either way, after a month of inaction on their part and several calls to the HWC they requested that the claim be reassigned (May 9, 2026). No call, no explanation and I am still stuck with a freezer that isn't working. This company is VERY unprofessional and unreliable. I suggest maybe asking your dad's, neighbors, dog to help you. You'd probably get the job done faster!

This greatly affected my budget as We had to eat out (family of 4) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the entire time because I was told that we had to unplug my refrigerator until the new part came in. With the cost that I spent on the part and the food for the family I could have bought a new refrigerator. Very frustrating. The only redeeming feature is that once I was able to speak with the someone they were kind, but I didn't get a discount for all of my trouble.

I've used Doug for a long time. First was my ice maker. They can't figure out why it won't work…read moreproperly. They were here 4 times just for the icemaker. Recently, my stove, washer and dryer all went out at the same time. When Doug left, dryer wouldn't work. The light wouldn't even come on. He ha d to come back to fix that. When he left all of a sudden the washer hose was leaking. Funny that it happeed as soon as he left. I called him back and he said he'd call me the next week and work me in. 2 weeks later, i called him back. He told me that since im not in Mustang, he waits until he has another job in the city​. He said hw would be out the next week. That's 2 weeks for something that should have been fixed in the first place. When he FINALLY got there. He wanted to charge me another service call. I'm done with Doug and I will not be calling him ever again. I read the other reviews and honestly, I don't care if he is a veteran. Check things before you leave and make sure it works. Beware of this company. Btw, my ice maker still doesn't work correctly(3 years later).
