Nevin measured and thoroughly examined each room and had the invoice ready for me to sign before he started, so there were no surprise charges. He's also clearly knowledgeable and passionate about his work and taking care of his customers. We had a burn mark from a vacuum and he explained before he started that it wasn't physically possible to remove it from our type of polyester carpet, so that I wouldn't have any unreasonable expectations. Additionally, due to a clogged HVAC filter that our landlord didn't fix, we had black buildup along the tops of our stairs and in the closets. I had assumed that it might improve a little, but by the time he was done, the stairs were immaculate. He let me know before he left that because the closets are a small confined space, it was harder to get the equipment in to reduce the buildup, but I thought it was significantly improved as well. I really appreciated his honesty and that he never made any promises that he couldn't keep. I had asked him when I scheduled if he could finish before the final inspection with my landlord, and he delivered. He took about 2.5 hours to finish our 3 bedroom house, including initial inspection and packing up his equipment. He cleaned nearly 900 sq ft and 28 stairs in that time. We've used the "other guys" in the past and the yellow vans were our "go to" carpet cleaners. They always did a good job and we were satisfied. Well, we were satisfied with that service until we tried Red Hot and we realized how much we've settled for a "clean" carpet. They may be a little more expensive than the yellow vans but trust the doubting Thomas when he says, it is well worth the extra money! We purchase our home in 2012 and the home was built in 2003 so we have to assume the carpet is that old. This carpet looks new and I don't mean new looking for a 13 year old carpet, I mean Nevin did such an awesome job it looks like it was just installed. The other guys could get the nap to stand back up in high traffic areas for a day until they started to flatten back out. Here we are a few days later, the sun is finally trying to make an appearance and we can't believe how bright the beige carpet looks...it actually brightens the room and the nap still looks new. In fact, after Nevin was done, you could NOT tell the difference between the high traffic areas and the area under the sofa and other furniture in regards to the nap, color, brightness and softness after drying. Nevin is very knowledgeable about what he does. As a customer this is extremely important to me. I need my questions addressed. I just had my carpets cleaned by Red Hot and I can't believe what a great job they did. I had 3 cats who passed in the last year, so you know what that meant! Lot's of vomiting. I also have a dog who occasionally vomits and once had an episode of the squirts while we were at work. Add to that, grandkids who spill despite my best efforts at prevention. I want everyone to know that this company has a magic formula they used to clean my carpets and I highly recommend them to anyone. We had our wedding at our home the 21st of May, and for 4 months before then, we remodeled the entire house in terms to be finished for out big day. Nevin cleaned 2 rooms of carpet for us yesterday and did an amazing job. My carpets are a frieze type with very dark staining in the high traffic area.
