This is my favorite coffee drive through in Longview/Kelso. Always friendly staff. My drinks are always prepared perfectly.

Hands down the best coffee in town! I wish they were a national chain, because when I travel outside the area & have to get my coffee to combat the early morning zombie virus, I hate gambling on an unfamiliar brand. The people are friendly, the coffee is phenomenal, and it's totally worth the second mortgage I've had to takeout on my home, after looking at my bank statements and seeing how much money I spend there every month, lol! I have mixed feelings about Red Leaf. Overall, I really enjoy the coffee shop as it offers a lot of drink customizations and vegan drink/food options. Personally, I think Red Leaf has the most of this in Longview. In my experience however, there is very little consistency when ordering my go-to drink - a pure matcha latte sweetened with honey. Out of all the times I've ordered this drink, it's always different. So much so, that I have stopped ordering this because I never really know what I'm going to get. I hope that one day they can become more consistent with their menu items so I can go back to enjoying my go-to order. read more

Tasty drinks! Stopped here on the way from Seattle to Portland and was so happy we made the pitstop! Clean restrooms, lots of space to visit/walk off the stiff legs, and of course, lots of drink and snack options. My husband had a peach-apricot-pear smoothie (vegan, non-dairy), and I had a small, iced, vanilla latte. Wonderful! Everything was made quickly and perfectly. The espresso was nice and strong, maybe a bit burnt, but nothing that would prevent me from coming back! I come here too often. I won't say how often; that's how often I come. I'm not here writing to embarrass myself. On the one hand, I am thankful they exist. Because God knows this town is lacking not only in any organic or natural food/drink options but also just good food and drink options in general. On the other hand, I sorta wish they weren't so delicious. I'd have a lot more money to my name. But... I blame my lack of willpower and their sugar cookies. The staff is so sweet. All locations are good but the one on 15th can be slower since it's only 2-3 people working inside of the small stand. Not their fault. Oh, and the owner is a gem! Super sweet. I drink a lot of coffee. I recently went up and around the Olympic Penninsula and down the oregon coast and tried so many different coffee shops along the way... and only ONE even half way compared to Red Leaf. There are times when my drinks aren't perfect, but let's be honest. I have extremely high standards. And new people have to learn, people have off days, whatever. But rarely do I ask to have anything remade because it's usually on point. And sometimes just for waiting a couple of minutes I'm handed a free drink card. Who else does that?! It makes me fall a little more in love each time. Bottom line, hands down, the best coffee anywhere in the area. I've tried them all. They also use Monin syrups which are all-natural and very little ingredients compared to the normal coffee shop brands. I have been coming to Red leaf for a while now. The experience is always Excellent!! Red leafs organic coffee is the best in town. They have a wide variety of milks, coconut, hemp, soy and regular milk. Red leaf also accommodates for the gluten free diet. The Kelso location is a great meeting place. I have only every been through the drive thru but I love this place! Tried a few different coffees now and one smoothie and they were all delicious! I've had their toasted blueberry bagel and sausage breakfast sandwich as well, neither of which are convenient. The bagels come with cream cheese on the side so it's not good for food on the go unless you're going to be stopping within 5 minutes so it doesn't get cold again and the breakfast was so greasy it was actually dripping was I was trying to eat it. My only other issue is they don't have a punch card which isn't a huge deal but you have to buy a $30 gift card to get a free 16 oz. drink. I can understand the reasoning but kind of a bummer if you don't have $30 to spend when you go. Overall I love this place for it's coffee, best to avoid it's food if your looking for breakfast on the road. read more

I wanted to try this place for a while now and after reading the reviews I couldn't pass if up anymore. The drive thru attendant was very friendly and fast. I ordered a fluffy bunny and my daughter got a pineapple coconut smoothie we were both impressed. The drinks were excellent but a little pricey which is fine for better quality. A buddy and I made a quick pit stop here on the Seattle to Portland bike ride. The coffee was good, the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot and the staff was friendly and quick. My significant other recently relocated down to Kelso-Longview for work and we were both pleased to find an awesome coffee place that isn't Starbucks! Being self-professed coffee snobs, this place hit the mark for us. Every time I come into town (I'm from Seattle), I'm sure to stop off here. The girls who work at Red Leaf are sweet as can be. Whenever I come in, they are always so friendly and always provide great suggestions in regards to espresso drinks and food. Drinks and food always come out in a timely manner, whether I come in or use the drive-through window. Red Leaf has lots of seating and a cozy ambience. I love the unique espresso drink options, with the Gold Rush mocha being a particular favorite of mine. I also tried the Mayan Mocha recently and I was blown away by it. I can't wait to try their holiday drinks! They roast their own beans and their espresso is fantastic. They have the best scones as well and I do appreciate how they mix up the pastry options on a regular basis. The only downside to Red Leaf in my opinion, is that they don't offer an 8oz espresso drink and the smallest size they do offer (12oz), only comes with a single shot of espresso instead of a double. It costs extra to get a double shot of espresso, which is the norm up north (and in Portland). It could just be their espresso machine. Coffee was delicious, staff friendly, atmosphere cozy and I appreciated more than anything the clear face shields the staff wore. Why have I not reviewed Red Leaf yet?! I used to pop in for a "half matcha, half spiced chai, made with hemp milk" almost to the point of obsession; it's that good. The only reason I'm not stopping in at least once a week anymore is that I've moved far enough away it's hard for me to justify the fuel (not to mention the driving time). Any occasion I have another reason to be in the vicinity, however (sadly, not often), I make every effort to swing by. My first visit to Red Leaf was back when they only had the wee drive-up kiosk in Woodland. Hopping off I-5 from north of town that day, I hadn't yet seen them, only the Starbucks. I ordered a chai (from SB) before noticing a sign over by the roadside that said "Red Leaf Coffee / just down the road / worth the drive" or something to that effect; hrmm, I thought. Continuing to the window, I paid for my drink and sipped a bit before exiting the parking lot. It was disappointingly bland, and I decided I was going to give this "Red Leaf" place a try. The difference in flavour between the drink I had in hand and the spiced chai I was served at Red Leaf was pronounced. It was *so* pronounced that I actually asked the woman if she'd be willing to throw the SB chai away for me, despite it still being nearly full. (Yes, really.) The "half matcha" bit came about later. Red Leaf had just added matcha to their line-up, and I wanted to try it, but was hesitant to order it straight. The server suggested I might try it halved with my usual (chai); I've ordered it that way ever since. I miss the friendly folks, the wonderful owners, and the fantastic drinks. It may not be "just down the road" from me anymore, but when I'm able, it's still very much "worth the drive"! read more

I've only had the Tropical Green (smoothie.) But my mom comes a lot, and I've noticed many things. Always great service, and always pretty fast. I don't like coffee, but I think their other drinks would probably be good, if I were to ever try them. Customer service goes a long way. Decided to switch up my coffee venture today as I was leaving town and go through red leaf instead of Dutch bros. Big mistake. Cashier was snotty as hell and must of been in an upset mood. Not a wink of happiness or customer service in her tonight. Best Coffee ever.

This place is located in a large office building which was kind of confusing. It was nice and modern on the inside. They have the type of bathrooms where you have to ask for a code to get in. My hubby got the pumpkin pie latte which was delicious!!! I opted for the pumpkin mocha (super intriguing!) but it failed to deliver. It tasted like a normal mocha and you could not taste any pumpkin at all. It wasn't even a good mocha, just a mocha. Very disappointed, I should have went with the pumpkin pie latte! read more

But each and every time I choose Red Leaf I am left feeling satisfied in the drink as well as the bakery goods they provide. Of the three coffee shops I stopped in, during my two hours in Longview (a girl needs her caffeine) this was my favorite for multiple reasons. They have a small, but private parking lot. They are not easy to see, if you don't know where they are. They sit inside a newer building, with offices above. There is no outdoor seating. If you're heading north, the sign fairly easily snags your eyeballs. If you're heading south, you see the sign just after you pass the building. There are the usual assortment of two and four seat tables. They have a decent amount of seating, overall...not great for large groups, but good for smaller groups. They have a thick-bodied coconut milk (makes for an excellent dairy mouth feel) and they are connected to a gluten free bakery!! They are so popular, we came in on our way out of town to find they had sold out of all gluten free baked goods. We did order an egg dish, with sausage, to split. That dish was far too salty. It could be good if they used the sprinkle setting, rather than the pour setting on the salt dispenser. Their coffee is organic, and delicious. It's smooth and not too bright on the palette. We thought we were going to have to walk away with no gluten-free goodies, but just as we were getting up to go they brought out slices of vegan, gluten-free banana bread with a maple spiced glaze. I normally find vegan and gluten-free don't work well together. I don't know what voodoo they do in that kitchen, but that bread is worth the drive alone! I was sad to hear they had chocolate bread with a cherry glaze coming up in another hour. I wish we could have stuck around, but alas...the gluten-free nom noms will have to wait for another date. read more

You defiantly get what you pay for here. I don't go to Red Leaf as much as I would like, because they are a bit on the expensive side, but their coffee and food are wonderful. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Did I mention the coffee. Googled coffee places on our way through Longview and found this gem! Had the pumpkin bread and a chai- fabulous! They have a guy who makes the chai, powdered formyummy! Hubby had an Americano and he said it was "different" but he would order it again. Great space, plenty of seating. Outdoor space in season as well. read more
