We have one in Calgary and it isn't nearly as good as the one in Saskatoon, the service was great, the food was even better. We ordered the Lobster and shrimp pasta, very generous on the shrimp, caesar salad was so fresh with generous amounts of parm, biscuits could be garlikier, I think they changed the recipe over the years, fries were perfect and the clay chowder was delicious! My wife's brother came to town from Ontario,we booked a table at Red Lobster for Saturday Nov.8th 2025,5pm.We booked thru my booking app open table.Confirmed reservation,email confirmed,table preference. We arrived at 4:50 pm and checked in Manager/host confirmed reservation,never read the seating request,and went to seat us at a booth.They seemed lost we wanted a table,away from the door.After some dithering,we finally got a decent seat. Waiter arrived,pleasant and friendly menus,drink offerings,water,offers of beverages all great.Our drinks were very good.Appetizers to die for.Then it went to hell.Main courses arrived zero plate service,nobody bothered to come remove our used plates,Waiter took forever to get back to us for even dessert.Good hour for even after dinner coffee.Main course our fish and chips were under cooked,greasy.My wife's pasta bland,but passable.We piled our used plates on the empty table beside us,when the waiter returned with my wife and Danny's tea,he forgot my Bailey's and coffee,10 minutes later my coffee appeared.After I drank my coffee I went outside my wife and Danny showed up 5 minutes after,I'm hoping they never tipped. When we got home I noticed Red Lobster did not even check my Open table reservation,instead put me down as cancelled.Despite the fact we were there. Tried this Red Lobster while on a business trip. Tried the escargots and the "all you can eat" shrimp. The escargots were quite good... could have used a bit more garlic, but overall quite good. The shrimp were very good, especially the coconut shrimp. Would recommend Red Lobster but the only issue at this location is the lack of parking. I think that they only had 5 regular parking stalls in front of the restaurant with 3 handicap spots. People were parking at the bank next door. read more

Service was great here... As expected from other Red Lobsters I have been to. Right now they have the unlimited shrimp special. The dishes we got was cooked to perfection and portions was fair. Waitress was very attentive and was able to alter my meal to the way I wanted it. No complaints. Location seems to be on a main street with many food vendors... so lots of picking to choose from. Not impressed had to wait almost an hour for our food. And $20. for 2 pieces of fish and only handful of fries. Other places in and out in an hour or so we were there for 2 1/2 hours really. And waitress gave me the cold shoulder cause I asked her for more water well excuse me for being thirsty. read more

Not worth the money, buy it frozen and cook it yourself. salt salt salt, my mothers food was so hot she couldn't eat it, calamari tasted like it was the last of the bag, way too much batter and undercooked. ithe love tater was dry and over cooked. shrimp ceaser had way too much ice...ohhhh and the served my 18year old alcohol with out even asking for identification, probably the last time I ever come back. read more

Here on a business trip! So I decided I felt like some crab legs. Usually Red Lobster gets bad reviews but I definitely enjoyed mine. The Sangria wasn't the greatest o would probably select another drink next time. But the biscuits were warm and the salad was fresh and the crab legs were great. I chose the rice and new Brussels sprouts as my side... They were okay. I will definitely be back. read more

When you get takeout from here they package it really well and they treat their couriers well as well. You can know that if you order food from here that they are going to take care to package it up well. As far as the taste of the food it's red lobster which is good but not my fav. Its a chain. My wife and I had dinner here Saturday evening. Service was wonderful, but the meals were a bit disappointing. Her Captain's Feast was a deep-fried assortment of small, shrivelled and bland items that would have looked at home in a box of frozen appetizers bought at Giant Tiger to be heated in your oven some evening when you didn't feel like cooking or spending money on ordering from anywhere decent. The highlight was my steak, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I'm a firm believer that a restaurant can make a few missteps but as long as the steak is great, (almost) all will be forgiven...and they did nail that. read more

Our server Carolyn was phenomenal to start. She discussed the menu and specials and we decided to go with the Thursday 4 course special for 2 for $42 paired with the half price Jackson Triggs Pinot Grigio. It was amazing. You get a choice of an app, 2 lobster tails, 2 different kinds of shrimp (6 each), 2 large scallops each and dessert. It was so delicious, cooked to perfection and a great value! we visited RL tonight. Server was good as was the service. The biscuits were doughy and the crust was not crisp. We went for the crab (crab fest). The server did recommend bairdi crab which my wife ordered and frankly it was good. I ordered king crab legs and paid $33 + and it was boiled/ steamed in unsalted water. Very bland. read more

Service today is excellent as always, but whomever does their ordering of supplies needs to overcome their cranial-rectal dislocation. They ran out of salmon of all things. And if their supplies didn't come all prepackaged and frozen they could have sent someone to get salmon and seasoned it in house. read more

Well I'm glad I didn't tip him well, the wait was 15 minutes but the fact that you can sit and preview what is on the menu I found that cool, when we were called I figured this would be like any other red lobster in Canada but I was wrong from the start of the evening I didn't care for the waiter he was an egotistical jerk the food wasn't bad but the server was horrible making us wait for appetizer to beer and then coming and exclaiming to his fellow workers I don't know what she's mad at I the best server here to which our table burst out in laughter, this was a bad experience with a bad server read more

Since it changed up its look I'm not sure if the management changed or what happened but it got so much better. Red lobster was my absolute favourite restaurant as a kid. When I moved to saskatoon it was starting to suck and then it was terrible. Is bad that I walked out with a manager following trying to make it better but couldn't or wouldn't actually do anything. Now when I go in the food is good and has decent portion amounts and the waiters and waitresses are good. I'm being waited on, not just treated as another face which is a nice thing to see when so many other places don't do this anymore. I'm so happy to have this restaurant back again. read more
