Just came in with my 15 year old daughter for Dad and Daughter date. A Saturday night burger and fries. I had the Tear Jerker Burger with fries and my daughter had the Skirt Burger and fries. We just had a really good take out meal from Manhattans. I had a roast beef sandwich which I very much enjoyed. My husband had the Bam Bam Shrimp, his long time favourite. It wasn't very busy at suppertime so no worries re COVID-19 distancing. Highly recommended. read more

To T B. You cannot even begin to compare this pizza to Boston or Family. They actually use real cheese here. This gourmet pizza. I also frequently order from Venice but cannot say that I get it as cheap as you seem to. This is not crappy 2 for 1 food. I was not a fan of my caesar, but my friend was and said the dressing tasted homemade to her. However, my skirt burger exceeded my expectations in size, amount of cheese, and taste. I'm picky with burgers and the patty was nothing extraordinary, but the crispy cheese made everything okay. Went there for our wedding anniversary supper last night. Server was polite, and thankfully she wasn't one of the ones with the ridiculous ultra-mini-skirts. My wife had the beef dip, she said it was great. I had the New York steak, it was done exactly as I ordered; the bourbon sauce wasn't overpowering, nice touch. So we wanted to order pizza Friday night and thought we would give The Manhattan (Trifons Pizza) a try because it is the closest pizza place to our house. On my phone I went to their menu on their website http://www.manhattangastropub.com/dinner which didn't have any prices which I thought was a bit odd but I called the number at the bottom of the page and ordered 9) Pepperoni and Mushroom (15") with extra meat extra cheese and 25) All Dressed (15") I wasn't given a price over the phone but I also didn't ask for one. I went to pick it up a half hour later and was welcomed by a $93.42 bill.....for TWO pizzas. I asked the server if there was a mistake on the bill, he assured me there was not, then I asked if he thought that this was a reasonable price for 2 pizzas, he said "yes, that's alot of pie". I should have walked away right there and said forget it, but like a nice Saskatonian I paid my bill and took the pizza. He also said the prices are on their menu, check your website buddy, they are not. Now I've bought alot of pizza in my day and for 2 large pizzas I would expect to pay somewhere in the neighbourhood of $50-$60, not over $90! I have checked a few other Saskatoon pizza places and priced out very similar orders: Boston Pizza - 15" pepperoni and mushroom (extra meat extra cheese) and 15" deluxe (most similar to Trifons All Dressed - total with tax comes to $55.13. At BP's you get 50% off the second pizza. Pizza Pirates - 15" pepperoni (extra cheese) and 15" Pirate Pizza - total with tax comes to $65.10. Family Pizza - 15" pepperoni and mushroom (extra meat extra cheese) and 15" all dressed - total with tax comes to $44.05, always 2 for 1 pizza Venice House - 15" pepperoni and mushroom (extra meat extra cheese) and 15" Venice House Special - total with tax comes to $45.12, also 2 for 1 pizza. Overall the pizza was pretty good but not $28 to $49 better than their competitors. I will never order pizza from The Manhattan again and will not frequent their restaurant. I could have taken my wife to the Keg and had a nice steak dinner for $93. read more
