Had a wonderful visit! The owner herself did my pedicure today. The spa is very clean and organized. She started me off with a gel foot soak and that felt amazing. The water wasn't too hot either. After fifteen minutes of gel-Topia she put salt in the soak and turned it back to water! Woah...what?! So neat. The pedicure wasn't in a chair but I was able to lie back on a massage table and she worked on my feet. I was also given an eye mask so I could relax even more. This made me feel pampered and she talked to me, actually had a conversation with me. This made me feel like my business mattered to her and made me feel good too. I had been here about six years ago and she even remembered me and mentioned a few things to prove she remembered me. Honestly, she made me feel like I want to come back and I will. She is worth the $70 it cost. The pedicure is a great one! I went home feeling better. Thank you, you are amazing and I will be back. read more

The communication, consistency, and clarity of services at this salon need improvement. Our group of four came in for pedicures, and each of us had a completely different experience--despite paying for the same service. Some of us received sugar scrubs, hot stones, and foot soaks, while others did not. The website didn't clearly outline what was included, so we weren't sure what to expect. Only two of us were instructed to check in on the iPad, select extras, and sign a waiver--those same two received a foot soak, while the others didn't. We were later told the soak wasn't provided because we didn't arrive early. However, we arrived exactly at our scheduled appointment time--when the salon opened--and were never told to come early. Our service also ended early, so there was definitely enough time for the soak to have been included. On the positive side, the staff was friendly throughout our visit. They also comped a hot stone charge after we pointed out we hadn't asked for that add-on, which we appreciated. The eye masks and the ability to recline during the pedicure were nice touches that made parts of the experience enjoyable. Overall, with better communication and consistency, this could have been a relaxing and positive visit. Unfortunately, as it stands, we won't be returning. read more

I went to Red Orchid Spa for a Facial, message, and pedicure. The place was small and cool. So there are no Robes, and no Showers. I got to the room and it was cold. The bed was not comfortable. The air conditioner was on blowing down on the bed. My facial was first (not my choice) so the mist for my face was getting blow up to the vents instead of my face. The facial was ok nothing that I couldn't do myself with a good moisturizer, so when the hot towels were used on my face the air conditioner made it cold even with the blankets. (Resting my face on the table wiped my moisturizer off my face) for The message was underrated. I told the therapist that I wanted her to message my neck which she didn't get to. The therapist for the message used no oils and when I asked her she said she was using a "fine oil". Pedicure was nice and will go back just for a pedicure. They have you rest on a bed and give you an eye message (order on Amazon) which was relaxing. Overall my experience was nothing exciting. My recommendation is save your money for a Spa experience. Good for a pedicure. read more

I have to admit I always saved Red Orchid for special occasions and since my birthday was coming up, I booked the Indulgence package. I was so excited waiting for the weekend to come and relax. My first service was the pedicure, but I found it awkward and uncomfortable laying on my back as the adjustable table slanted down to reach the toes. Not the most relaxing position to be in for a pedicure. My second service was the facial and went rather well until it was over; I sat up to get dressed and realized I had mask or something caked across my whole upper lip region under my nose. I had to remove it with a towel left behind. My third service was the massage and I was so looking forward to it. The massage therapist asked if I had any trouble areas, etc., and I told her my sciatica on my right side and running down that leg, lower back, and neck/shoulders. I got ready in the table and she came back in and began. Up until this point, I didn't know there was a "bad" massage...now, I do! This was the worst massage experience I've ever had, and that's putting it nicely. I'm a massage veteran and love deep tissue massages and get them 3-4 times a month, but not at Red Orchid because they're expensive compared to other places. My massage therapist "massaged" me as if she was kneading dough; it was rough, jerky movements, pushing/leaning on my rib cage with her resting hand, and kneading my "neck meat". There were a lot of circular movements with no pressure, but probably needed for all the oil she used. All of her "techniques" were what you would encounter if you asked your significant other for a quick massage. When she worked on the neck and shoulder area while I was facing up, she swooped in aggressively, abruptly, and I felt as if she was going to choke me. I have never had this happen in a massage, such a bizarre feeling. Needless to say, she never found the trouble areas we discussed, nor did I receive the birthday hot stones promised by the owner. I truly was disappointed and so angry at the substandard services for exorbitant prices, I just had to get out of there! While checking out, the manager/owner asked me how the massage was and I told her it wasn't good. She offered to take it off my bill, but I told her I would pay for the service time, even if it wasn't great. She offered to set me up with another therapist for another time, but I had already made up mind I would not return and just wanted the whole thing done. I actually came out of Red Orchid feeling worse than I walked in, and I paid a lot of money to feel this disappointed. Well, happy birthday to me I guess... and last time I patronize this place. This place is AMAZING!!!!!!! We are in town from California visiting my daughter and we wanted to go on a last minute girl spa day, we called around a few different places and everyone was booked but finally called Red Orchid, which was an absolute blessing!! They worked with us and made it happen for an amazing memory with my mom and daughter! While we were waiting for our facials we were put in a room for an amazing FOOT SOAK! It was like warm slushy jelly, which was like heaven on earth, while we had a warm neck wrap! ALL WHILE WE WAITED!! Then whisked away for the most amazing facial ever!! I got Kim, who was exceptional, and my Mom and daughter got Ashley, who I hear was just as great!!! BEST PLACE EVER!!! We truly didn't want to leave!!! I had the best experience here! My friend and I both got the Replenish Retreat package and it was the absolute perfect option if you really want to get pampered. It was a facial, full body massage, and a pedicure for $170!! This was a three hour experience with cheese, crackers, and cider. I feel like the deal is incredible. Came here for my husband's birthday massage together. Showed up & they came & told us they was getting our beds ready. I was sitting there looking around & I thought someone needs to dust this place. When u have a lot of black u have to dust offten or it looks dirty. Got in our room with a door that opens between us. We got on our beds h got ready for our 80 minute massages. I really enjoyed my massage & so did my hubby. When they said they was done I thought that 80 minutes went fast. It did my time started the time I walked in the door. So all the time they was getting the beds ready & we was getting undressed & waiting for them all was 80 minutes. The massage it's self was 60 minutes. That did disappointed me a bit cuz I have never had that happen with any other therapist. Would I come back? Yes the massage was great & I did give a 20% tip. I would just hope next time I get more of my time. The best part for both me & the hubby was the hot rag on the feet. It just was so therapeutic. The spa and the masseuses are nice, and the massage itself was great, however when I arrived for my appointment I was told I was scheduled an hour later even though my confirmation said differently. I waited the extra hour then went back in and enjoyed the massage and pedicure, and left feeling relaxed. Later on, I received a Snapchat friend request from someone who used my phone number to find me. When I accepted the request I immediately got an advertisement for their services with a message to "spread the word". While I greatly enjoyed the service, this ad felt more like an invasion of privacy and I probably won't be going back in the future. read more

This place is amazing! I have SO many allergies to scents and products. I didn't have a single issue here. Even with some crazy body issues (injuries, nerve damage, skin issues), this was one of the most relaxing, best experiences I've ever had. Take advantage of their spa membership. Definitely worth it! This is my go to spa! The staff is very professional and friendly. The owner Angelina is warm, welcoming and remembers you. I love that homey feeling. I had a recent eighty min massage with BJ and it was one of the best I've had. He is very detail oriented on spots you've asked to focus on. He also uses hot water bottles similar to hot stones but it's much more effective. Pedicures and foot soaks are very relaxing and pleasant. The prices are reasonable and there are monthly specials. Love this place! So relaxing! My friend and I have gone here twice and each time has been great! We had the pedicure, facial, and massage package, so amazing! I have never laid down while having a pedicure, but I love it.... my friend was so relaxed she fell asleep during facial and pedicure! They also stand by their work. Will cut your time if you are not extra early. Had a family member giving massages who did not have the proper training or license. Argued with client when asked for less pressure. Gets paid to work front desk now that shes pregnant. I was the healthiest therapist they had, I always did my best to give people their full time and they fired me when I was honest about people being interested in coming to my house for massage...and deciding I didn't them if I had met them at this spa as to make sure I am not stealing. Was open with the manager about this and she fired me anyways. HURTS MY BROKEN HEART. I honestly tried so hard not to bite the hand that fed me. So much sad, frustrated, stressed negative energy swirling around here. Its probably a blessing in disguise that I don't work there anymore. Sucks for the clients who want me there though. Lovely, quiet place. The pedicure is a unique experience. After a foot soak, you are led to a room with a massage table where you get to lie down with a blanket, pillow, and an eye pillow while your pedicure is done. It's so much more relaxing than the traditional "Since I'm watching you touch my feet, I feel like I have to make conversation" experience. I only wish they offered manicures. I scheduled a same day facial for 1:30. At 1:00 they call and tell me that my 1 pm appt would have to be moved. I told her my appt was scheduled for 1:30. But since I wasn't doing anything anyway I moved my appt to 2pm as she requested. Had a facial and pedicure and couldn't have been any more relaxing! The facial felt so nice. Just thought of it to clean my face, but it relaxed the muscles in my face & sinus area.
