I just had a wonderful massage from Chelsea at SafeHaven. After racing in LOTOJA (200 mile bike…read morerace) this past weekend I developed a tightness in my neck that got worse and worse in the 5 days following the 9.5 hours of Hell on a bicycle. I didn't have time to drive down to SLC to see my regular therapist so I decided to find something closer to my office, and I'm so glad I did! Chelsea was able to work the mess of knots that was my neck and I'm back to feeling normal again. She's a definite professional and her years of experience show through in her skill. It's not a fancy spa.No mints, no heated face towels, and no $15 surcharge for deep tissue (which is the only massage any serious runner/cyclist should consider). I've wasted my fair share of money on sub-par massage therapists, but I'm pleased to give Chelsea my highest recommendations. I hope to be back soon and regularly.

I noticed RX and thought well, let's call. I'm so glad I did. As Donna worked on me I knew she was the one when she did her initial evaluation. She nailed the exact problem and went to work. It was painful as she meticulously worked out each issue. I knew the issue was going to take time to heal, but Donna's work allowed my body to start healing. As the day went on after my session, I could feel my body healing each hour. I'm still in need of more work but I will definitely keep going to Donna. The male massage therapist speaks more English than the lady masseuse but they both are provide very good massages and they're very respectful. They're responsive to you if you say soft, hard, or medium for massage strength. The lady is Selina, who was excellent. She is the only therapist I tried because after the first and second times, the results were consistent with a quality massage. So happy we can continue coming to this place and get the wonderful relaxation each time! A bonus is that their service is professional and polite. A nice change from other Chinese run businesses that pressure you to pay up front and in cash. That is always fishy to me and makes me question the ethics of a business. If you haven't had a massage since the change in ownership, go for it - appts aren't necessary but highly recommended especially on weekends when they are busiest.
