They priced this light 1 penny less than the retail price that is printed on the package. C'mon man! Do better.

Prices are WAY too high. They forgot they're a thrift shop. They're trying to be a boutique but it's not happening. I always go to goodwill first (next door) and if I have any cash afterward, I come to red racks, but not always. I literally am steps away, but sometimes I just don't go in because I know their prices are ridiculous.

My much loved dresser I bought at redracks

I absolutely love this thrift store have been going there for about 9-10years staff is usually always friendly good prices & a large selection of things to buy & look at. Love their .75cent Sunday's!

Oh man. I came in based on someone's suggestion, looking for a triple slow cooker for a birthday party. It was WAY bigger inside than I expected by looking at the store front. I glanced around at the kitchenwares and kids' clothes. Everything seemed overpriced for the condition, probably because they were advertising a 50% off sale the following weekend. There were tons of single, lost shoes around. I think I saw maybe 3 matching pairs. As I walked further back, everything was literally just thrown around. I can't believe they keep the store like this and expect people to want to shop. Definitely won't be back. Try the many Savers in the metro area for good deals and organized stores.

Disappointed we looked for a similar format and found this City Thrift Outlet/Bins store and had a blast with the by the pound clothing/fabric format. We spent about $65 and got a Sleep Number throw that weighed over 5lbs but retails for around 60-99 roughly that my daughter loves and we got some fun clothes for fall at great prices. Just washed and we're excited to wear/use our items! Books at $1 is great too. Grace at the checkout was great. Personable and friendly, she complimented some of our selections, offered a rewards/points sign up, and was just all around good people. I will definitely go back when back in the area again, especially if I have my 9 & 13 year old with me. I only took one star off as clothing was rather unsurprisingly dirty in some cases, with holes and stains. With this format I expected some of it. I really do appreciate that it was organized by fabrics, shoes, bags/hats, housewares, glass, and home goods. So, you knew you weren't going to stab yourself digging through some clothes and finding a knife set or something. Thanks City Thrift for organizing the bins!

This store is absolutely fantastic! I stopped by to make a donation, but they were closed outside…read morefor a heat break so I went inside to drop my items off. I was so impressed with the store that I did some thrift thing for the first time in a couple of decades. The staff was super helpful and kind, most folks there are volunteers. I was able to find a pin striped suit that fit me for $30. All I have to do is get the pants hemmed because I am short. I also got a couple of shirts, including a KC Royals shirt for five dollars because I didn't have one. Students and teachers get discounts on Friday and seniors 55+ get 25% off on Wednesdays. I love that this store works with people who are transitioning from being unhoused to housed and they let them come in and select whatever they need for their new place with no charges. For this reason, we will be making all of our donations at Hillcrest thrift store from now on.

Excuse me jerk, if you don't want to work there than quit !!! If you're terrified of working a few minutes late to deal with customers that are giving you money, you're in the wrong business !! Meanwhile the new store , Savers , next door actually keeps good business hours and doesn't scream rude crap at customers . Also the nasty old woman at the front counter was very rude trying to rush people out . I will never shop there again and will now donate to savers , I hope they put you out of business
