This is the best location, hands down. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and the coffee they have in the cafe is always made deliciously. I haven't gotten to try their cocktails yet, but I guarantee that will happen soon! We got the banana bread latte and pothole latte in the souvenir World Cup cans and we couldn't have been happier! The drinks weren't too sweet, which I appreciated. We also got a vanilla donut for our daughter which of course was scarfed down.

This is a lovely store on The Plaza. There's a wonderful coffee bar inside the front door. A great place to warm up from Christmas shopping and also do more of it. There is a great collection of local KC company offerings. Ball caps, Christopher Elbow chocolate, other Swiss chocolate, beer, wine and clothing galore, all made in KC. This place is a wonderland! I'm not much of a shopper, but I was impressed here. So many cool local things.

Always our favorite stop on the Plaza to stop first and grab a coffee before walking around. We always find a few great items for gifts as well. If we have down time, sitting in the back and grabbing a beer or wine is also a nice perk. If you're parked and walking around, stop in. Do not recommend if you're looking to run in and grab coffee if you're not on foot, simply because parking on the plaza is not easy.

If u want unique and one of kind clothes, decor or jewelry this is the place to be. They have it all! It's even attached to a cute bar and coffee shop. Right on a shopping strip. Kinda pricey but worth the hype!

Made in KC is such a cool store that shows off some of the local makers in KC. From candles and art to clothes and fun gifts, there's a little bit of everything. The space is well organized, which makes it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. The staff was friendly, and I walked out with a few great finds. If you're visiting or live here and want some KC-themed merch, this is the place to go!

If you're looking for a place that has it all, this is your spot! This is my favorite made in KC location for shopping. I think it has the best selection and the most space. The bar is nice, but I never seem to see it getting used much. The cafe is a great place to grab a treat. Who doesn't love shopping with a drink in hand? While nothing is bad, I don't think anything really stands out. That being said, you can't go wrong with the menu!

Good place with a nice selection of different kinds of items from the KC area. The live vendors seem to be struggling to stay open at all and to be open for reasonable hours. Other than that, I loved this store.

Stopped to check out the bar and cool off! The bartender was awesome and drinks were refreshing and importantly ( super hot out) kept our waters filled as well and even offered waters to go!

Perfect place to shop for everyone. I promise, you will find something for everyone. You need it? They got it! This place is literally my life saver from the holiday stress. I was able to do all of my Christmas shopping here. Got a cute beanie for a huge Chief fan. A hoodie for KU graduate. And a coffee mug for a Swiftie. A great place to stop for coffee and shopping. Highly recommend.

A must-visit and the perfect stop after brunch, lunch or dinner on the Plaza. Whenever someone moves to Kansas City or is visiting from out of town, I love taking them to Made in KC. It's the perfect place to shop, hang out and find a new local brand to love. Most of my Holiday shopping budget was handed over to Made in KC. They also sell gift cards if you aren't sure what to gift someone! I love the way the store is designed and the fact that it has not only a coffee shop but also a bar with happy hour specials! If you can't find street parking, there's a free garage close by.

With several locations in the city now... each store highlights local vendors and products. Great place to grab gifts, take out of town guests or grab yourself a treat. The location on the plaza also has a bar and coffee shop which is an extra plus. Service has been friendly each time. Only draw back is you may not find the sizes you are looking for. Free parking garage nearby.

I wish I could've bundled the store up and placed it in my pocket to take back to Indianapolis. What a treasure chest of locally made items. It was especially impressed by their displays and the all things Missouri bar featuring local spirits, beer, wine and mixers. What a fun and smart combination! You'll find everything from locally made honey and earrings to pickles and soaps. I thought the offerings covered a wide variety for all audiences and price points. I also loved seeing this store located in in an area that was inundated with chain businesses. This is a great model for other cities to replicate. Bravo to the folks and makers behind this business.

Excellent local spot in Country Plaza with phenomenal coffee. So glad I stopped by and enjoyed a vanilla latte with robust flavors to start the day. You'll be too.

Having a full-fledged bar, cafe, Ice creamery, and only one working toilet is unacceptable.

I especially loved the native plants at City Roots, and it's always nice to see the good people from Messner Bee Farm. There's live music (with room to dance!,) fresh produce, hot food, local artisans, and plenty of green space to stroll through. Parking isn't difficult- lots of street spots, especially if you go later in the evening after other local merchants have closed.

After an 18 month-long intensive infrastructure project to bring major updates and beautification to Mission's main drag, this local farmer's market, located in a grassy byway along the Rock Creek Trail between Reeds Road and Maple Street, helps add to Mission's "hometown downtown" feel. For those who live in the area, it's easily accessible on foot via the streamway trail and/or Johnson Drive, and for those who drive in, parking is plentiful and easily accessible at city lots at Outlook and on Woodson Rd., which offer access to the trail. Local businesses ScriptPro, Shortstop BP, and Casey Bros. Sinclair along Johnson Drive also have arrangements with the city to allow parking, and there is a ton of angle parking on the street due to the recent upgrades. The market is new, but already has a good number of vendors setting up awnings on every Saturday, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m., through September. In addition to produce vendors, several local shops have kiosks, including Dips and Sips, with their massive cinnamon rolls, and Werner's with their sausages. Vendors also sell popcorn, baked goods, local honey, plants, flowers, cheeses, soaps and lotions, farm fresh eggs, meats, and jams and jellies, to name a few. The market is open air and spread out along a popular dog walking trail, so there is plenty of space for pets, a grassy expanse for kids to play, as well. There was live folk music this morning, and I ran into Mission's mayor and his wife, who noted that bench seating and canopies will be added as the project progresses. As a resident of Mission, one thing I appreciate is a sense of small-town community in an area that's metro-suburban, and projects like this really add to the neighborly, community feel. The first couple of Saturdays of the Market, rain has been an issue, but today's market was sunny and hot, and lots of people, vendor and customer alike, were out early. Lots of visiting with vendors, and just a really great, friendly community experience. I'll look forward to watching this neat new farmer's market grow, from the ground up.

We arrived early to beat the crowds, and it was definitely worth it. Parking seems much improved thanks to expanded lots and additional street parking throughout the surrounding area. The busiest stop by far was Nitchals Farm, where nearly 25 people were already lined up at 7:30 a.m. waiting for homegrown tomatoes and fresh produce. Not wanting to miss out (a little FOMO never hurts!), we joined the line ourselves. While we waited, several people couldn't stop talking about how good their tomatoes are, so it felt like we made the right choice. Another favorite was Bazaar Spice, which offers an impressive selection of spices available by the scoop or in bottles. We picked up two bottles for $15 and chose the Italian Blend and Salsa Blend, both of which smelled amazing. Every vendor we visited was welcoming and friendly, and there was an incredible variety of high-quality products throughout the market. It's easy to see why this has become such a popular community destination. We're already looking forward to making it part of our weekly summer routine. A few tips: - Arrive early for the best selection, especially if you're hoping to grab fresh tomatoes. - Bring a few large reusable shopping bags--you'll likely leave with more than you planned! It was the perfect night to sit by the windows and watch the clouds roll in as a thunderstorm approached. The service was excellent. Our server, Jenna, was friendly, attentive, and quick throughout the entire meal, making the experience even better. The food was delicious. We ordered the lobster roll, Braised & Blue pizza, meatballs, oysters with caviar, and the chicken and shrimp yakitori. We also had a couple cocktails- Spicy Paloma and Pineapple Express made with reposado. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, but the lobster roll was definitely my favorite of the night. Between the stunning rooftop views, great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, Prime Social made for a perfect evening in Kansas City. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it for a date night, special occasion, or simply enjoying the city skyline with friends.

We ordered Old Fashioned which was what you would expect. The Suburban Sunset was different and good but a bit syrupy. I finished with the espresso martini which was very good and very strong. For food we had oysters on the half shell that were fresh and hit the spot. Next Yard Bird which is chicken meat balls. The flavor is good but they are mushy. Probably won't get them again. The chicken, steak and shrimp sticks were ok. The chicken had a rubbery texture. The star of the night was the fried lobster bites. Very good. Chicken and beef sliders were good but again the chicken was rubbery. The fries were also very good. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. To me it reminds me of lamb chops which I love. We finished with the 24 carrot truffle which was nice but not great. Overall we had a good time at Prime Social and would come back.
