The portions are huge...I have yet to eat a meal there and not take home half of it. The prices are crazy-reasonable, but the best part about the awesome experience is Anna and her family. They are so pleasant, care about the patrons, and of course, are very involved in the delicious production of food. My absolute favorite meal so far has got to be the porkchops. Seasoned to perfection and so juicy...again so much food with two chops and a side. Very craveable! If you haven't been to Anna's Cookin', you are missing out on a great experience.

When my food arrived I was like a Mad Dog as I tore into my meals ( yes plural, don't judge ) I began by dumping my garlic sauce all over my Mofongo. The garlic completely complimented the plantain mash and when I paired that with some of my shrimp from my other dinner it was a match made in heaven. The shrimp were not only cooked perfectly but they were huge and I generously got about 10 to my order. The rice and peas were perfectly flavored on their own but were made better with the addition of the shrimp & peppers along with their magical Criolla sauce . Overall the prices are really good for the quantity and quality of their food, service was quick and my only wish is they were closer to my house, but they are definitely worth the 35 mile trip
