Casual and cute pizza joint in the adorable downtown area. Service was friendly and fast. They carry local wines--including Lonesome Vine! (ALL the LV wines are incredible!) We drove to Nocona, TX this weekend to see their downtown and Lake Nocona. We went to eat lunch here. We ordered Mediterranean Pizza, Mozzarella sticks, Stromboli and Fried Mushrooms. The pizza dough is freshly made, not frozen. The ingredients were fabulous, but not enough to fill the 12" large pie, few meats and veggies were spread around our large pizza. The manager/owner should see to it that the items being done in their kitchen should be well checked. The mozzarella sticks taste great. The Stromboli bread is baked with lots of meats stuffed inside it. The fried mushrooms are not greasy, it's delicious. Serving staff are friendly and gracious. Single $ Yelp code price is terrific. This place is so cute! We came to Nocona on a day trip to Muenster and added Nocona to see the car museum. I found this place on Yelp! after we were disappointed in Muenster and were very pleasantly pleased. We were warmly greeted, sat at the bar, and the service was friendly and excellent. We tried the Cheese stuffed fried ravioli, which as a huge departure from most fried raviolis are completely stuffed 100% full of cheese, expertly fried, and crispy, tasty, and served piping hot. They are smart enough to bring them as soon as they were ready instead of waiting for the rest of the order. The Garlic Cheesy Pops pack a punch of garlic... they were SOOOOOO YUMMY! This might have actually been the worst pizza we've had. Very thin, not completely cooked and hardly any flavor. Pretty sure the breadsticks were the frozen variety. The dessert pizza was okay, but still weirdly not cooked. Very unfortunate, we were hoping to find a good pizza place close to home! Between baseball games yesterday I brought my son to the Nocona Glove Factory for a tour. Afterwards we stopped by the pizzeria, because we had read good things about it. Did not disappoint! The place is spacious and clean and very welcoming. Nice long bar for watching games. The staff seemed pretty young and we had a couple different people take our orders, but they were all very nice and the food came out quickly. We had the toasted ravioli and two personal 8-inch pizzas. Dakota's was a little underdone and the pepperoni soaked his crust, but he loved it. I had an alfredo sauce pizza with bacon, ham and basil and it was OUTSTANDING. That and drinks for around $20 - we will definitely be back. read more

Always amazing! We brought a friend who was visiting (he worked in the restaurant business for years and is a pizza connoisseur) since it's one of our faves and were anxious to hear his thoughts...He raved and raved!!! Perfectly thin and crispy crust, high quality mozzarella, and great service. We came with our 4 kiddos and as soon as we were seated, a sweet lady brought each child "wiki sticks" to play with and keep them busy. Let's just say, as a result, it was the most delightful dinner for the adults and kids alike! And now we are ordering more for our own toy stash back to the food- we ordered several pizzas that were all very good, and they offer meatballs as a topping, so we had a pepperoni and meatball pizza. So pizza and spaghetti was good here. PThe cooks need to be schooled in proper food handling techniques, they were young men (older teens). One in particular with long hair, and a full beard was observed often stroking his hair back, putting fingers in his mouth all the while working with peoples food......not good. The other two were observed doing things that were not good food handling procedures. There was also little to much goofing around in the kitchen area as well. So be aware and informed. My wife and I love a day trip. She saw RRP featured on the PBS show "Day Tripper" on Saturday. We came here on Sunday. Takes about 80 minutes from North Fort Worth. Great thin and crispy pizza, hospitality and ambiance. Tony, the owner, was so cordial!! C'mon Fort Worth! Y'all got to get out and come here and support this wonderful family business!! My wife and I went to Nocona for the Mardi Gras festival but it didn't start until that evening so we decided to find a place to have lunch and a beer. We stopped in at Red River Pizzeria and had a great time. The food was wonderful and the hospitality was top notch. The owners (Tony and Teresa) came by the bar where we we sitting and introduced themselves. Super nice people that definitely understand service and hospitality.
