As much as I hate going to the dentist, the team at Red Rock Dental make the experience as smooth as possible. They work hard and are good at what they do. Always professional but not afraid to interact in fun with the patient. Knowledgeable, courteous and very thoughtful of the patient's comfort and needs. Dr Hugh's puts a lot of thought into what he is doing. I believe a perfectionist. Always gives the patient options and is very forward and honest with opinions. I am not one to write reviews, but really wanted to for Red Rock Dental in Sedona. Every single staff member at this office is friendly, professional and always does an excellent job. At an appointment to clean my teeth, I got a quote for veneers due to a chipped tooth I had that had been an eyesore for me for YEARS! I had no idea how expensive veneers were, but during the discussion with Dr. Byers, he offered to contour the tooth. Next appointment he did just that and didn't charge me for it. I had an unfortunate dental incident while at Taco Tuesday in the late afternoon. I lost a cap on the first bite of a beef taco. Although it wasn't a true emergency, I considered it a very urgent situation. I called for an appointment and was able to get in at 9am the next morning. I didn't feel like I was squeezed in between other people's appointments either. I was treated quickly and all of my concerns were addressed. The tissues around my wisdom tooth got infection, swelling and painful, make me suffered a lot. Mike took picture and X-Ray of my teeth, found the bacteria down to the root of the wisdom tooth, he suggested me to pull it out in case the infection spread out to the adjacent tooth. The anesthetization was successful, the whole surgery last for a few minutes almost without pain. Now I'm home, with the analgesic's help, I feel great! It's the first time I visit dentist in US, I just come here for a few months, but I like the service and professional surgery. Good experience! read more

Everyone was very kind, helpful and thorough, from the front office staff, dentist and back office staff. I felt the dentist gave many options to consider and I feel good about the treatment plan we have come up with. I am grateful to be heard in what I also feel is important for my care. Wonderful dental experience here! First time teeth cleaning visit for me and I had a great time with Chimene. She is a great dental hygienist. She even scrapped the last little bit of glue on my teeth from braces I had years ago that other places I've gone to left because they weren't as determined. Dr. Byers looked me over and he was informative, relaxed and funny. I apparently have awesome teeth. Fun people, great equipment and well priced for fantastic service.
