    Grilled prawn Alfredo.

Remind yourself that you are in 100 Mile, that you are not in a dining metropolis and that this is a 'gas up and go' Cariboo location. Once you have done that you have set your expectations to a level where you will find this place just dandy! Standard north American cuisine, a bar for the truckers, lasagna as a menu staple and small town service... Which is nice. I ordered the canaloni and was quite surprised... it was decent!

Very friendly service unfortunately took forever to be seated as the young lady is working alone . But she was a good server and would recommend coming here. The food is in good portions for what you pay just keep in mind being from Alberta I forgot the extra taxes here lol but it is a wonder place.

Rib Eye Angus Steak. One of the best ever.

Delicious food, excellent service. Only place to eat in town. Order the Sante Fe burger!

Today i was asked to leave, by the server, because i was coughing. No empathy or compassion at all. We won't be back ever.

Yep the building has seen better days. It could be cleaner and there is a dingy scent to the place. We did find plenty of seating and it was comfortable enough. After a while, you get used to the atmosphere and focus on friends and food. THE FOOD: I really enjoyed their Meatlover's Skillet with the ham, bacon, sausage and back bacon. Mrs. E. said her strawberry crepes were a good choice, too. Our friend, Diane, ordered the Spinach and Swiss omelette which was as good as my skillet. Her pompous husband, Jim, braved the steak and eggs, which he ate all by himself. No sharing. He has some weird phobia by which people can't touch or taste each other's food. He reminds me of bass player John Entwistle from The Who. While everyone on stage is destroying instruments with each other, he's off in the corner, over-protectively clutching his guitar, guarding it from harm. Okay, maybe that's a bad example. We love you, Jim. The Smittys people were fantastic! Like a big happy family. Ever since I started putting creme in my coffee, it has to be a certain colour for me to enjoy it. Every time they top off my cup, it screws up the colour. Point is, that's great service. I'm hoping they spruce the joint up a bit. Maybe build a new one? I'm looking forward to our next trip thru. BTW, If you're headed up to Smitty's, call Jim and Diane Lobianco to join in. You'll see what I mean. 09/22

The drive thru severely backed up, trash cans overflowing and people everywhere. We were here one hour from arrival to departure. The rush was handled incredibly well. The inside lines moved like an assembly line. Nobody lost their head. The whole place was docile, just digging the fellowship and enjoying the day. Henry Ford would have appreciated this well oiled machine. They even did a pretty good job keeping up with the bathrooms. We met several new friends here including a 30-year Tim's veteran with a Cowboy hat. She up-sold us on two coffee mugs, a half dozen donuts and coffee to brew at home, and we don't have a home!!!!
