One stepped on the lock mechanism & got them both locked in. I walked to a nearby restaurant. Called 911 for help. Was told to find a locksmith or tow company. I thanked them for that suggestion after reminding her both our phones were locked in the cab. A good Samaritan heard me in the restaurant talking to the host. She looked up the AAA 800 number. Two agents took our info & put me on hold for 15 minutes each after listening to their lengthy intro to upgrade while my husband manually pryed open the pickup's rear window & contorted himself to pry the lock. While he was doing that, a guy waiting in line to dump his RV asked what the hold up is. He told him the key was locked in the cab. The guy called my husband an ass. If AAA is not going to be there for us in an emergency, then I'll have to find someone more dependable. I suggest you take what I said to heart. They knew animals were locked in a hot truck in AZ in July. That did not matter to AAA. As far as I know, they're still trying to figure out who we are.
