I entered a marked crosswalk with a green light and pedestrian crossing signal activated, hence I had right of way. Their coach initiated a left turn and would have run me over had I not pushed myself off it and launched myself back from the center lane of a 3-lane street. The driver then waved to me in a dismissive way 2 blocks later. I had flipped him off right before his wave after collecting myself and his explanation, as conveyed by management, was that this was his way of saying "sorry", though it was clearly an "eff you" back in reaction to my gesture (bear in mind i didn't just nearly kill him and in response to my reaction) Management initially seemed concerned about this when I made them aware of the situation. They first escalated it to their insurance company (trying to cover liability, no doubt, in my estimation), but their insurance company said that the footage from the bus's cameras was inconclusive due to glare. Upon that finding, management immediately ceased dialogue with me, noting they've addressed the matter internally (refused to share any color), and that I will not be hearing from them again. This was after chasing them again for over a week from the last interaction. I've not ridden on Elite, but I would advise caution given my experience with a reckless and entitled driver employed by them compounded by management's seemingly lacking commitment to safety and accountability - at least in my view. Though I'd be happy to reengage with management to better appreciate they take this seriously. My offer to speak with them to understand what actions they've taken still stands.

The bus seemed fine - comfortable, clean. The problem was the driver. Although he was older - and…read morewe thought that would mean experienced, smooth, and safe - we were mistaken. He drove roughly and our heads and sometimes our bodies were thrown forward as he braked heavily then accelerated hard. Multiple times he was riding up close to the vehicle directly ahead or seemed to be trying to prevent someone from merging ahead of him. We're talking about a 50-person but not a Honda Civic or other small, nimble vehicle that can stop safely and quickly. We just didn't feel safe on the bus. Several times we heard horn honks and looked out the window and saw that the driver was cutting vehicles off and they were beeping and slowing to avoid being struck. We heard a young girl ask her Mom why the car was so close to the bus; it was because the bus was running it off the road. Ridiculous that this company employs such dangerous drivers - not just from a customer service and comfort standpoint, but such unsafe, reckless driving also seems like a tremendous liability to the company.

I have only ever gone on bus trips as a passenger with other groups. I didn't have a clue what to do so I just searched online and started calling places. I figured in my head, hey I get the cheapest price and the guys will be happy. The first couple companies I called were nice enough, and gave me prices, but certainly did not go out of their way to make me feel that comfortable or make this any easier on an old guy like me. Honestly, Werner Coach was the last place I called. I'm so glad I made that one last call to Werner! The woman who answered the phone transferred me to the sales manager, Lynsey. What a blessing! I apologized that I didn't really know what I was doing, but I needed a rate for a bunch of us guys to go to DC. She was so nice and knew exactly what questions to ask about what we wanted to do. Things the other companies didn't ask about rest stops, itinerary, she suggested places we could stop to eat and was just a joy. She was so accommodating even until the day before the trip when she called to confirm all the details. When our bus arrived earlier than expected I breathed a sigh of relief. The bus was clean, the AC worked, and it was comfortable. The driver pulled up, got out and introduced himself and shook my hand. His name was Jason. He went over the itinerary with me to make sure there were no last minute changes. Everyone loaded and we were on our way. Jason's driving was excellent. He was very cautious and safe. Even in Washington, DC. There was so much traffic and some of the streets are narrow and he handled it like a pro. Throughout the day he was on time and ready even when we were running late a few times. He pointed out sights to us as we drove by which was appreciated. We got home a little late due to traffic, but it was an awesome trip thanks to Werner. From the first call, to the time Jason dropped us off, they were first class. I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know!

We didn't get a chance to use them because Covid had shut the world down but I kept their number locked into my phone. Fast forward two years later and I had an emergency and Baron came to the rescue. At 9:45pm I got a call from my main bus company saying that one of their coaches broke down and they wouldn't have a third bus for a trip we were host the next morning. The first person I called was Claudine because she had given me her cell number two years earlier. I told her our problems and within 40 minutes she had a bus and a driver locked in for my trip Needless to say, this doesn't normaly happen so I was very thankful. The bus was clean, on time and the driver was very professional. They have a customer for life!

The products are no longer as consistent as they used to be, and I've noticed a significant drop in quality compared to what they offered in the past. It's disappointing to pay premium prices and receive products that don't meet the same standards. I used to recommend this place to friends, but I can't do that anymore. I really hope management listens to longtime customers and focuses on improving quality instead of just increasing prices.

This was in July for a group going on a trip to the Bahamas - it's not like we had sweaters. - on the return trip - the bus was showing signs of age, and rode very hard. The driver was very 'jerky' with the shifting, and proceeded to get lost in the local town for the drop off home. The second time was for a large group trip to a Phillies Game. This company was used by the organizers. - On the way to the game, the driver almost went the wrong way, and the passengers had to tell her the correct way to go. - there were 3 busses. We were supposed to stay together because of the parking passes. Apparently 2 busses did not get the memo and decided to stop at a rest area (there are bathrooms on the bus). Our bus had to stop on the side of the highway for 15 minutes and wait for them to catch up - the bus was very uncomfortable - like the shocks have seen better days - on the return, the driver had no idea where she was going, and apparently has never heard of GPS. After wandering for a half hour in the wrong direction, passengers were using their cell phones and giving her the directions to use. I cannot recommend this company - especially not their drivers.

As a woman I did NOT get treated fairly though by my employer. Females were treated as inferior and I was not the only employee to say this. Having his daughter-in-law in charge made situations more complicated (Eg: what the Daughter-in-Laws says was truth & nothing I said would change that). There was a period of time when the DIL was babysitting her sister's baby AT the office!! It was extremely difficult to schedule transportation with a screaming baby in the background because she wouldn't lay down for a nap or needed her diaper changed. It was literally a daycare for at least a year!!!! I was let go for something that wasn't my fault or even my department. The office is very disorganized & the owner is arrogant. He doesn't even know the processes to run his own company!! I found the scheduler on his iPad for personal use on multiple occasions during paid company time. This caused issues with the drivers not getting the right information. The equipment (buses etc) is old and needs to be replaced with newer models. It's all about saving money and not how can we service the client better. Most of the "good reviews" are for John allowing his buses to be used for free for good causes. (BTW, he does it also cuz it's good advertising. Words from the horses mouth) It's really sad.
