These guys are awesome! I'm pretty new to the whole Vape phenomenon so I literally had no idea what I was doing. I bought a mod at a local place down the street from my house and it was sold to me by a guy who barely spoke English lol. I asked him if this was good or that was good hoping that somebody that worked at a Vape shop would know and he was just like "yes my friend it's all good stuff" so again not knowing anything about this stuff I took him at his word and I purchased a mod and tank and some juice. Literally two days later my tank started leaking all over the place and I went back there and he fixed it for me but then it started tasting gross and just problem after problem. My friend had told me about red star vapor, it was quite a bit a ways from my house so I never got a chance to go there I live in North Scottsdale they're located in Phoenix. For me it was about a 40 minute drive versus the other place that was about a five minute drive but I can tell you that it was worth the drive to go to Red Star! Upon my arrival they greeted me with open arms and were willing to show me anything and everything in the store and walk me through all of the process on how to change out the coil's, tanks program the mods ect. They also had a specific model that I was looking for that my friend has. It looks like it's made by the United States military it's called the geek Vape legend! It was sold out all over the place but I found it here and luckily they had one left that was in all black so it was meant to be! It was a pretty good price to compared to what I've seen it go for online and at all the other shops that I've been to. I purchased my new mod and a couple of new flavors that I'm super happy with and they were very helpful! They were younger guys in their 20s and they also had one girl working there who is extremely helpful as well. I will definitely be going back there very soon to spend some more money! If you're new to this or even if you're a veteran of the Vape culture I highly recommend this place they are good people and they will treat you well plus they're very patient especially as somebody new to the hobby. First Yelp Review Faulty products: We have been going to Red Star for years but tonight was the last straw. I would sooner quit than continue to come back. We used to go to a more convenient location but the juice was frequently old and off, so we moved to this location. This location's juice is a lot better, when it's actually delivered. FOUR times within the last 6-7 visits, they have given us the wrong product. Every time we go, we order Icy Blue Razz and, constantly, what ends up in our bottle is undeniably Echo (a terrible flavor). The first couple times we took it on the chin and just tossed it. We started bringing the juice back and they were nice enough to swap it out, but here's my problem: We are only one customer and yet we experience this ALL THE TIME and it's becoming MORE frequent; they know that "sometimes the batch gets messed up" but they KEEP SELLING THE BATCH, waiting for someone to be fooled, or not care enough to bring it back. On a related note, recently the coils we have been buying have only been lasting about a week before they taste burnt. Usually our coils last us at least 2 months without feeling the need to change. They are always super nice and give me great recommendations. Their disposables are overpriced in my opinion, Smoking Vapor Plus does 8 for $20, but at red star one is $15 (not sure what the reason for that is). Their house juice is a good price and better than most other brands though. Get Ghost Town you won't regret it! read more

Not only do they mix your own custom juices for you (they also have hundreds of freshly mixed yummy flavors to choose from) they also go as far as to make a custom nicotine level. For people like me gets lightheaded and generally yucky feeling with a 12 nicotine level, yet 6 is way too low, this is AWESOME. I got a 9 and it's just right. One more thing that will tell you just how amazing this place is, I had gotten a bad coil from another vapor shop, and I received a free coil from Red Star once I told them mine was bad, even though it wasn't their mess up! Ive been to dozens of vape shops all over the Valley, but Red Star is my fave and heres why: knowledgeable staff, great ejuice prices, decent mod prices, and several locations all over the Valley. The staff are super chill (Mesa being the least so) here at the Greenway store, and always eager to talk you up, not rush you out the door. Great mod and atty selection, as well as tanks. Their ejuice isn't what Id call "premium" (ie Cuttwood, Lost Art, etc), but its dang good, and Ive been a loyal customer for 1.5 years now and couldn't be happier. read more
