    Fried green beans.

Great place, staff and food. Hungry Man breakfast was incredible. Chuck wagon was good to go. Fried green beans were very good.

Visiting the area ....found the Red Stone Cafe. Glad we did, good food, super friendly servers and fair prices! Definitely a hidden gem!

A hidden gem! The staff are so friendly and were so sweet to our grand kids. The Friday fish fry was delicious.

Cute little out of the way place. Homemade coleslaw. It's a diner. If you don't want fast food try it.

Always a special occasion at this place…read more Group of 4 reservation on Friday at 7 pm. Table with view of river had spectacular view. Excellence is standard here from bar drinks and beers to service and especially the food. Shrimp cocktail coconut shrimp and fried green tomatoes for appetizers, although the ultra fine corn meal hush puppies are highly recommended too. Blackened redfish with special salsa was tender tasty and an unusually rich tasting treat. Mahi Mahi and Chilean sea bass were others chosen and one solo filet mignon. Conversation Slowed to a crawl with few oohs ahhs and you've got to try this statements all thru dinner. Desert was warm carrot cake and chocolate brownie Sunday. Decadent sweet and deliriously great with superb back coffee. Wait staff never left a glass unfilled and was great with recommendations for an unforgettable meal. Next time I'll come earlier to take advantage of the seafood market ( closed at 5 pm) for take home delicacies flown in fresh from everywhere greatest seafood exists. Can't wait til next excuse to go to Kingsport. We didn't scrimp on anything/ the bill was a tad over $ 200 with appetizers desert and entrees. But there were great looking selections on the lesser cost on the menu too. I was looking for a first class dinner experience and was perfectly satisfied. Stuffed and needing a nap after though lol

My problem was with the fish. The white fish was so thin it was 75% batter. Truthfully long Johns sells a better fried white fish. Our waitress was great. It's just there are better lunch options out there.

We visited for lunch since my colleague was craving seafood before driving back to Knoxville…read more Although this may not be the fanciest or most scenic location for seafood, it does seem to have the highest rating currently on yelp. Decor inside is 80s and 90s with baby blue walls. Ambiance is okay, with carpet and mostly an older crowd on a weekday lunch. I reviewed the menu and saw many fried options, but they also had many broiled options too. I went with the captains platter and colleague went with the fried platter called the fisherman's platter. My colleagues meal was a huge fried platter and I didn't think he could eat it all, turns out I was right but not because it was to nuch food. It was actually just not very good. He kept complaining about the stuffed clams and how rubbery and nearly impossible they are to eat. He is from Louisiana so he knows good seafood, but when we were heading to the car he said the food was basically like Captain Ds...... My seafood was edible but it didn't taste fresh by any means. We were not a fan of the hush puppies, at all. I really didn't like the baked potato either....it wasn't cooked well. The best part of the meal is that the iced tea tasted good.

The manager stopped by at our table to see if everything went well and if we were enjoying our food. (Which we were!!) the grilled Caesar salad was scrumptious, and the kids Mac and cheese was finger licking good! You could tell that the Mac and cheese was house made because it tasted super fresh. The decoration inside was cool and definitely gave sea food vibes. The food came out very quickly as well as desert. I recommend the cheesecake it was velvety goodness. Even though the menu font was a tad hard to read and the key lime pie was more of a cheesecake feel, it's still a no brainer. 5 stars!!!

The older "owner" is defensive (no need) but the younger one actually listens and draws good info. 1. Serve drinks 2. Know "market prices" 3. Serve appetizers for everyone as close to at once as possible 4. Waitstaff should help each other when available. 5. Don't bring a bill while people are still eating mains....and don't bring it then ask if anyone wants dessert Fried is easy, best items like the lobster roll and shrimp are great but not fried or cold. Oysters are small but tasty....100% better raw. They really have no competition, quality first and hopefully they will be a mainstay, we want you!!!
