We shared the Sicilian pizza, which was ok, a bit light on the toppings and also not really hot...weird. Another star lost because I think the pizza could have been cooked a bit longer as the cheese was barely melted. These pizzas are also famous-o for getting real soggy real fast. After I explained the problem, he agreed to remake the donair pizza and said he would personally prepare it. Unfortunately, the replacement donair pizza arrived looking exactly the same. It had almost no meat -- only one small piece of donair. The other pizzas (ham and pineapple, and ham and bacon) were not replaced and also had barely any toppings. When I raised my concern again, I was told that if I wanted more toppings, I would have to pay extra. That response was frustrating given the pizzas already lacked the standard amount. The tomatoes were a crunchy yellow color, except for one piece of tomato which was the normal red and normal ripe texture. It's very strange to see yellow crunchy toppings when you're expecting to see red tomatoes. Have to say it the look of the pizza and different texture and color of tomatoes turned me off. Hope it doesn't happen again, if I even order from them again.

We decided to give it a try. We ordered two medium pizzas; the Tandoori Paneer Pizza and the Hawaiian. Both were $17.99 in 2025. The first thing we noticed was the crust. It's a thin crust but it was not limp like so many thin crust pizzas. You can hold the pizza from the edge and it keeps it's shape. I would definitely say that it's the best pizza crust in Edmonton (maybe even in Alberta). The rest of the pizza was pretty good too. Perhaps not the best ever, but certainly anong the better pizzas we've eaten. I would have preferred a little more sauce on the Tandoori Pizza as that would elevate it to the next level. I know that we'll order again from Espania Pizzeria because the pizzas are good and the crust is great.
