She made me the most beautiful tshirt quilt. She was so understanding to my preferences and she accommodated all of them even if it meant more work for her. This place is terrible and the seamstress overcharges for the simplest of alterations. She had a sign out front saying "Best in Nac" which is a joke. Her Google reviews are horrible and I can see why. The customer service is poor, and the prices are unreasonable. She doesn't even keep the hours stated on her website. Too bad there aren't more alteration shops in town, I suspect this is how she was even considered for "Best in Nac." More like "The only one we could find in Nac." Well I've only been to this lady once, but wow she was fast, incredibly good, and really affordable! I actually have some more things I'd like to take to her, but it's not really in my budget. I'd bought a skirt online that was on sale, when I got it the elastic in the waist snapped, when I went to return it they no longer had my size, so I took it to the Red Thread and asked if she could fix it, and she did and it only cost like $5 I think. read more

Awful! They said they could in my jeans. No problem! Except they only made them worse! Not only was it noticeable, but SO UNcomfortable. The tear was towards the crotch, and the way she "fixed" it only made them smaller in the thighs. Chafing was inevitable. I like that they tried, but they absolutely ruined my jeans!! Expensive ones! It's irreversible and it saddens me to even look at them! We went back to tell her how bad it was and she cursed us out and proceeded to tell us to leave. Had two of my suits for two weeks, and called me the morning before I was suppose to pick them up saying there was no way she could get to them. When I picked them up she hadn't even began on them. So I took them to a different tailor the measurements she had done were all wrong. Glad she didnt begin on them would have ruined two brand new suits. read more

Do not go here! Have always had bad experiences. She is rude, overpriced, and the place reeks of cigarettes and when you get your clothes back they reek as well. The last time I went to her (October 2019) I brought a jumpsuit, which I told her was not important and she should work on that last, and my boyfriend had a suit, and a sports coat to be altered which was very important and needed for a wedding in November. She said she would have it done by the end of the next week. When I went to go pick it up she had not even started and had gone out of town. I explained how important the suit was and said if she cannot do it, we can take it somewhere else and she assured me it would be done, the day we had to leave for the wedding... i called the day before to confirm that it would all be finished, she said yes. I walked in aNd she was working on the sports coat (not as important as the suit) and had my jumpsuit done and had not started the suit. She had some excuse of some bridesmaids coming in and needing dresses done for a wedding that weekend.... excuse me?! She does not do first come first serve like she told me when I dropped things off? Was pissed but had to leaVe town so when I got back and some days (about a week later) we went to pick up the suit and sports coat. They were not finished. A week later they were done and she still made us pay full price despite her terrible business. She sucks, I do not recommend. read more

I had a wedding on February 14, 2015. The owner got my dress a week befor my wedding. She went out of town and did not tell me. I went Thursday to get my dress and I see a sign on her door that she want be back untill the 20 of Feb. She ruined my wedding. I had to buy another one real quick. I paid her 70.00. HORRIBLE. I took 2 pairs of jeans to her. One was to get hemmed. She measured them wrong and the hemming wasn't even a straight line. The other pair was to patch a hole in the jeans. She patched the hole, but the jeans had zig zags all over them. I asked her what happened to them, she became very mad and said " I had to sew the patch down somehow". This has to be the worst place to ever have a dress altered! I sent my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaid up to see this lady to have the dress for my wedding altered and she did a HORRIBLE job. My maid of honor had to take her dress up there twice and still it does not fit properly. My other bridesmaid after receiving her dress has decided to take it elsewhere and not let that lady touch it again. It is a sad day when you spend $1000.00 on dresses and an additional $200.00 on alterations for them not to be done properly. I called the lady and she refuses to refund the money that has been spent on the "alterations". I would NOT recommend her to my worst enemy!
