But Chappy and his staff were able to save my dress and shorten my expensive bridesmaid dress with no problem at all. It was done in a timely fashion and for a very reasonable price. The only complaint I have are the hours they are open (typical work hours that conflicted with my own work hours and not open on weekend and having difficulty getting in contact with him in the beginning.) UPDATE: took in a pair of jeans to be shortened and was told they would be completed by the next week... called the next week and was unable to get a hold of anyone. My boyfriend went by the shop and a sign was posted that the business would be closed that entire week. We attempted to call the day after they said they would return and all calls went straight to voicemail. We moved an hour and a half away the week after we were told my jeans would be ready, which means we will have to drive back to get my jeans whenever we get confirmation that they are ready - huge inconvenience and not very professional for a business. I could tell by his assurance while fitting me that he knew what he was doing, but I was unprepared for the absolute invisible nature of his work. It was beautiful! I bought several food items and a newspaper....the food was fresh (NOT outdated) and was priced very reasonable. I would go out of my way and pay a little more for friendly service and good food. Lucky for me R & R had a laudry mat...where I refreshed my clothing supply. Ya can't beat it....good food, hot coffee, friendly people and laundry facilities...all in one place. Oh yeah...I got good advice from patrons...who warned me to avoid other neighboring services stations, restuarants ect.
