This winter my septic tank froze and even though I didn't realize they handled septic services, they came out the very next day and fixed the problem. Unfortunately, we do NOT recommend Red Valley Services. We hired Red Valley in June 2024 for yard preparation, top soil, hydroseeding, and a gravel perimeter around our house. The total bill was a whopping $8,215! We were willing to spend that for a quality job and to support a local business. However, things quickly fell apart. After paying we were talked out of laying down any top soil and the yard "prep" that was completed in roughly 20 minutes was a joke- there were a significant amount of rocks and sticks that remained. We were also only refunded $400 for the top soil, which is ridiculous- we know that top soil is worth a lot more than that, but we were not given an itemized invoice for services even after repeated attempts to have one. The hydroseed was sprayed on top of the rocks and sticks, and without top soil it was no surprise that by the end of July even after we followed all directions with watering frequency and pulling weeds we still had a patchy, uneven, sparse "lawn". We requested several times for Red Valley to come over and meet with us in person and for reseeding to take place. After multiple texts/emails Red Valley finally agreed and put us on the schedule to re-hydroseed in September 2024- they never showed up. When we contacted them after their no-show they said it was getting too late in the season and asked to do it Summer 2025 instead. We told them that was unacceptable and asked for a 50% refund so that we could remedy the situation ourselves. We never got a response and they have ignored all of our communication attempts since. We were beyond patient with Red Valley and if/when they are willing to make this situation right we will be happy to update our review. Again, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND RED VALLEY SERVICES. read more
