In the past 30 days, his apartment has flooded twice due to the negligence of his upstairs neighbor. We have video and photo evidence, yet management refuses to act promptly. Jessica Steiner, the property manager, personally told me that she would move him into another apartment on Monday. Then she turned around and told him it would be Friday -- forcing him to remain in a potentially mold-infested, uninhabitable unit for several more days. This is despite the fact that there are vacant apartments available right now. She has also insisted he sign multiple contracts before relocating and has refused to help unless he complies. When my nephew tried to speak with her in person, she rudely waved him off and told him she didn't have time to talk. This behavior is not only unprofessional but dangerous. We strongly believe his age and race are influencing how management is treating him. This has caused not only immense stress for him but emotional trauma for our entire family. We live far away and cannot physically be there to help, which is heartbreaking for his grandparents, parents, and all of us who care deeply for his safety. We have already contacted the City of Moncks Corner authorities and the inspection office. If this is not resolved immediately, our next step is contacting the local news station so the public knows exactly how tenants are being treated here. Tenants deserve safety, respect, and fair treatment -- not delays, broken promises, and discrimination. The owner tried to reply to my Google review using damage control. Here is a copy of their reply which is fake news: They replied Here is what we did in this situation. -Communicated with tenant and moved him immediately into a hotel -Repaired the ceiling within 1 week -Honored the tenant's request to move to a new 2 BR apartment -Tenant will be able to move in this week to new unit. They have not reimburse him for any of his damaged furniture but as she stated she gave him $100 to go to a hotel for one night However, none of this is true Response to The Farms at Moncks Corner's Comment: Your reply leaves out the most important details and misleads anyone reading. * The "ceiling repair" was nothing more than a quick patch job -- where are the before-and-after photos if it was done properly? * You failed to mention that you refused to move him until I agreed to take down MY original review. * You then increased his rent by $100 a month for the "new" unit. * Not a single dollar has been reimbursed for damaged furniture and personal property. * The so-called "hotel stay" was covered by just $100 -- enough for one night, not a realistic solution. * A tenant should not have to beg to be relocated after two floods in less than 30 days caused by another tenant's negligence. That's a serious habitability and health concern, not just "frustrating." Oh and you maintenance team left him a mopping bucket to clean up the mess you failed to mention that as well. My situation was very complicated, and I explained that to Kandi the first time we spoke. She assured me she was still willing to help me sell my property. And she kept her word through the most unbelievable, ridiculous, and horrible situations no one should have had to endure. It was quite embarrassing to say the least. From family members throwing temper tantrums and cussing me out to the next door neighbor calling Kandi making threats regarding property lines, Kandi remained professional, calm, and even respectful to people who did not deserve acknowledgment or a response from her. I cannot say enough good things about Kandi to explain my true and sincere thankfulness for having Kandi as my realtor. Kandi did so many things to help me sell my property that I cannot list them all as mentioned above, but I will give a couple examples. The buyer's lender required a lot of renovations that were very expensive and unexpected. After I paid for everything required, the lender then wanted the abandoned trailer demolished that was on the property. There was absolutely no way for me to have that done, but Kandi actually stepped in and helped me have it demolished! I could not believe it - someone I barely knew was willing to put themselves in an unsure situation to help me?! Another example is when I was unjustly taken to court regarding this property, and Kandi actually took time out of her busy schedule to go to court to support me! That does not happen with just any realtor. I could give many more examples of how much Kandi helped me and how she stuck with me for 13 months while everything that could go wrong did go wrong, but as I stated, there is not enough space to list everything. I will forever cherish Kandi's professionalism, knowledge of the real estate industry, honesty, commitment, compassion, competence, loyalty, understanding, empathy - I could go on but I think I have explained why I will recommend Kandi for any real estate business and I plan to contact her whenever I need a realtor in the future (if she will ever agree to be my realtor again LOL!).

The other payment options is a bill collections site which charges also. No one charges a person to pay a bill. They don't want you to drop off your payment because of Covid-19 but the maintenance person comes into your apartment without a mask or the pest control people. Hold your employees accountable just like you don't want us in the office to pay rent. The common areas are poorly cleaned if at all. The breezeways are dirty, some of the light bulbs are blown out it's hard to see going down the stairs but the rent continue to climb. The advertise dishwashers but there is none. When they did their so call remodel I was told that I would get hardwood floors, dishwasher, bathroom upgraded and of course ...NOT it didn't happen. It took MONTHS just to get the place painted and the carpet cleaned. RENTERS beware!!!!
