The facility and coaches are great. It was motivating, and I felt so much at home when I was with Red Wolf. A lot of our veterans in the gym and community are always welcoming and sharing equipment with all of us. I dropped in on this gym for a week while I was in town for a work training over the summer and everyone there was AH-MAZING The coaching staff was phenomenal and the members were always so kind and welcoming. The coaching, programming, and equipment at this gym are amazing. Red Wolf will meet you at whichever stage you're at and nurture the pup day in and day out as you grow into a beast. If you're not coming from another Crossfit gym, while you begin to go to the regular group classes, there's a 6 week 1 on 1 ramp up that educates and integrates you into Crossfit's movements and values. It can take some time to tap into the community at the gym, but I'm sure with consistency connections with other gym goers will manifest. I've been through about 9 different CrossFit owned gyms and this is by far THE BEST!!!!! Hands down best run Crossfit gym on every level. Warm ups are geared completely toward workout (not just a bunch of burpees to get your heart rate up). They actually do stretching, mobility and plenty of going through the motions of the lifts. Socially you can be an introvert or as social as you like. You can get in and get your workout done or you can get involved in extra fitness challenges. Athletically you can scale or push as hard as you like. You can scale the cardio, the weight so there is no pressure to keep up if you need to scale. Every aspect of it is hands down best Crossfit experience ever. Plenty of class times, wod posted ahead of time so you can schedule your week, most amazing coaching, friendly members and staff, fun workouts and optional challenges. Horrible overall experience. I was very enthusiastic to start my CrossFit journey and what made it easier is that this place is right across the street from where are live. I made an appointment and walked over. Paid $300 for my introductory classes (6). The trainer was very flexible with when I would come by and I would text him to cancel if I got called into work for an emergency (I am a physician). At the end of my 6th class, I was so excited to finally start so I paid $159 immediately for 2 classes/week/month. This was on 11/18. Work got very busy during Thanksgiving so I decided to start my first class on 12/6, assuming that my first class would trigger the start of my membership. I was very wrong. Unfortunately, the money-grabbing business informed me that my subscription started the day I paid not from the day I actually start!! What did I pay for from 11/18-12/5 then? I didn't sign any paperwork consenting to that!? They told me that I opened the receipt that was emailed to me so I should've known that the subscription started!!! That's shady in itself that they have special software to see if customers opened their emails or not. I told them I'd never go and they can enjoy the $159 I donated to them. Optimum CrossFit down the street told me they would charge after the first session which makes total sense. I will be going there soon but my first CrossFit experience has definitely been tainted... read more

I looked into CrossFit after too many frustrating "workouts" at 24 Hour Fitness (the location near my house was insanely busy, all the time). Before CrossFit I followed a typical bodybuilding workout routine and diet, and I felt like a I had been plateaued for months if not years, but after my very first class at Red Wolf, I knew that was about to change. Walking into a big new gym filled with dozens of impressive athletes can be intimidating, but I was barely in the door at Red Wolf before I was met with warm welcomes. It's like the nicest and fittest people in Orange County put out a Bat signal and met here. The gym is big and clean, the equipment is new and plentiful, and the coaches are so knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, friendly, accommodating, and fun! I have been going to Red wolf for a few months now and I really love this gym, and here is a few reasons why: 1. The coaches are really great! Each one of them is so friendly and really skilled in what their teaching! They are always pushing everyone to do their best and are very encouraging! And Caitlin in the office is really sweet and helpful! 2. The members are awesome and make you feel very welcomed! It is like a big family at red wolf everyone is always encouraging each other and that really gets you motivated to push harder in the workouts! I have met a lot of great people here and have made some cool friends! 3. The facility is beautiful! You can really tell they really care for their gym and the equipment! This place is always spotless and has the best equipment that just keeps expanding! 4. They have really cute shirts! Lol Me being a girl, I love clothes! And it's pretty clear that red wolf doesn't mess around when they come up with designs because they are awesome! I am slowly trying to collect them all! (: 5. They offer so many classes! All coaches, staff and members were super friendly in making me feel welcome and a part of the community from the moment I walked in the door. The classes had a great lively atmosphere, with coaches providing support and advice where needed. Particularly as a traveling CrossFitter this was great. I've visited some gyms where drop-ins are initially welcomed but left to their own devices without any support/help for the hour of the class. Totally not the case here, the coaches were on hand to analyse my movement and provide pointers (in CrossFit there's always a coaching point to take away, especially when it comes to barbell movements!). Equipment was on point, plenty of supply and all well maintained. Very well equipped. Would absolutely recommend stopping by whether you're dropping in whilst in town or are looking for a new home for CF/training. In town for two weeks and needed a place to keep up what I've achieved so far. Found Red Wolf on Yelp and checked with a comrade. She confirmed it was a top facility. Met with Matt, co-owner, and super nice guy. I filled out the appropriate waivers and made my 0500 hours appearance. Great ass kicking workout. You won't be disappointed if your looking for a butt whooping. I love, love, love the open airy feel with the doors open. Great environment, friendly people and I'm going back tomorrow. I have been a member since May of this year! I have been doing CrossFit since 2016 from other box but quit in 2018. My friend Jamario have convinced me to join several times in the past. I was hesitant, because I wasn't getting any better at other box. I was doing boot camps before I came to red wolf.. I personally didn't like it because they were using CrossFit movements and didn't watch their members form.. It was very disappointing. Long story make it short, I LOVE MY RED WOLF NOW! I'm so glad I joined! Matt and Caitlin are very welcoming and friendly! Coaches here are amazing as well! I honestly feel like, I'm one of the family and they never criticize me when it comes to the workout I don't understand. Coaches are very much informed.
