However, during a recent visit, they left grass clippings in front of the door and forgot to close the back gate. I sent a quick, respectful text as an FYI--not a complaint--just to bring it to their attention. Instead of a simple acknowledgment or apology, I received a long-winded response about stray cats and potential illness, followed by a message saying they would no longer be servicing our property. That's completely fine--what they were doing wasn't anything special and can easily be handled by another company. But from a customer service standpoint, sending an overly dramatic message to a paying client over basic feedback is unprofessional and unnecessary. I would only recommend this company if you enjoy lawn care with a side of theatrics. Otherwise, there are plenty of other companies who can provide the same service without the drama.

I called and had someone come out shortly after to assess. I got a fair price for a tree removal. Al the general manager seemed very knowledgeable on the situation. I had two other companies that were in the neighborhood approach me about service but quoted higher prices. I had to schedule a few days out but no problem for me. They did a good job of removing the tree. I'll call them again if I need more work done.

I was super excited to finally get to use The Tree Lady Company because I had heard so many good things. I had other quotes that were significantly lower but I decided to use The Tree Lady Company. To say that I am disappointed is a huge understatement. While the crew was wonderful and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, a sentimental piece of yard art that a good friend of mine had made for me was broken. But that's not what I'm giving the 1 star for. I specifically asked for all the dead twigs to be removed because they are constantly falling out of the tree. I did not realize in the quote that they will only do 2 inches diameter or more so I misunderstood the job and I would have NEVER hired them if they were not going to do what I asked for. When I reviewed the tree with the owner, I specifically asked that all the loose branches/twigs be taken down so I assumed that's what would happen. Unfortunately I am left with all these dead twigs still in my tree. The response from the lady in the office was that it would be another $800 on top of what I already paid which was already much higher than my other quotes. So so so disappointed. The Tree Lady then responded to my review on Google shifting the responsibility to me as the customer. Their response is too long to post here but this is mine: Response: no way shape or form did they move anything. I asked them if they would move it if they thought it would get damaged nothing was moved and yet my piece of yard work which was by the driveway was broken. As for the raccoons... It took very little time to get the raccoons out of the tree, maybe 10 or 15 minutes so that is fairly insignificant to the amount of time that was spent on my property. MORE time was spent cutting the neighbor's tree because of the severe damage done by the lift when your crew could not navigate around the branch​ that eventually had to be cut because of that damage. I8 made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I wanted the deadwood cleared out and it made no sense to leave it there since your crew was in that part of the tree which is lower to the ground and easily accessible. We are not talking about trimming small branches, we are talking about removing DEAD wood. Why would any reputable company that cares about their customer satisfaction leave dead wood behind? This is sheer laziness and bad customer service. I do not accept your response and will continue to be disappointed while you attempt to put the burden on me. It might have taken an additional 10-15 minutes to clear out the deadwood. I do not have the means to reach it myself or I would have and that was why I hired you. Poor choice on my behalf.
