I've lived in my home for more than 35 years and have had my oak tree trimmed by many different companies. I was super excited to finally get to use The Tree Lady Company because I had heard so many good things. I had other quotes that were significantly lower but I decided to use The Tree Lady Company. To say that I am disappointed is a huge understatement. While the crew was wonderful and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, a sentimental piece of yard art that a good friend of mine had made for me was broken. But that's not what I'm giving the 1 star for. I specifically asked for all the dead twigs to be removed because they are constantly falling out of the tree. I did not realize in the quote that they will only do 2 inches diameter or more so I misunderstood the job and I would have NEVER hired them if they were not going to do what I asked for. When I reviewed the tree with the owner, I specifically asked that all the loose branches/twigs be taken down so I assumed that's what would happen. Unfortunately I am left with all these dead twigs still in my tree. The response from the lady in the office was that it would be another $800 on top of what I already paid which was already much higher than my other quotes. So so so disappointed. The Tree Lady then responded to my review on Google shifting the responsibility to me as the customer. Their response is too long to post here but this is mine: Response: no way shape or form did they move anything. I asked them if they would move it if they thought it would get damaged nothing was moved and yet my piece of yard work which was by the driveway was broken. As for the raccoons... It took very little time to get the raccoons out of the tree, maybe 10 or 15 minutes so that is fairly insignificant to the amount of time that was spent on my property. MORE time was spent cutting the neighbor's tree because of the severe damage done by the lift when your crew could not navigate around the branch​ that eventually had to be cut because of that damage. I8 made it ABUNDANTLY clear that I wanted the deadwood cleared out and it made no sense to leave it there since your crew was in that part of the tree which is lower to the ground and easily accessible. We are not talking about trimming small branches, we are talking about removing DEAD wood. Why would any reputable company that cares about their customer satisfaction leave dead wood behind? This is sheer laziness and bad customer service. I do not accept your response and will continue to be disappointed while you attempt to put the burden on me. It might have taken an additional 10-15 minutes to clear out the deadwood. I do not have the means to reach it myself or I would have and that was why I hired you. I wrote a review in BBB I wrote a review in Google review. BBB won't show it for a long list of supposed reasons. I have been here before. Google review shows to me and no one else. I have been community stalked after being bullied and stalked and slandered at another local business. This was before I ran into an employee from this company. This owner nor any employee has satisfactorily dealt with the fact that there is an employee there who sat outside my gym twice in a company truck for an hour and semed to be filming. I quickly recorded the evidence as police have told me to do he out loud jumped down my throat and then had me kicked out of my gym. I am innocent civilian who has done MY duty to stand up for community members and support their rights and encouraged and helped others especially women. Now, it seems that the companies have taken deals to harass me and or cover up my bullying and exclusion and torment. I am sorry because this woman has a beautiful story and legacy and talks of wanting to help women to be empowered and upwardly mobile. Actions do not match. read more

I met the Tree Lady, Kimberly, in 2018. She took down a large dead oak tree sitting on the property line. Her crew were respectful, diligent, followed safety protocols, had the appropriate equipment and tools, and her price was fair. They removed all the debris, and I have used her ever since that experience . She comes before every hurricane, free of charge, and checks my trees for possible pruning. She was here today, found nothing wrong, gave me some great tips on my plants and trees. I enjoy having her come as she is knowledgeable about plants and trees and shares her knowledge.
