I consulted my normal GP at Redcliffe Gardens Medical centre last Friday, he diagnosed a sore throat and gave antibiotics. He gave me a medical certificate and told me to revisit him next week. I paid $61 for the appointment and got $20.85back from Medicare. On Monday (today) the practice manager advised that the GP will not bulk bill and a full fee is payable again. If the GP had done his job correctly I wouldn't need continual follow up appointments for his profit. So much for patient care. Profits are more important. Save your money, see another medical professional or go to the Redcliffe Hospital. Don't waste your money. I cant rate this practice lower than a 1 star or I would.
