Absolutely the worst Private Hospital. The Executive Office "investigate" the hospital complaints…read moreensuring the patient is to blame. No proper investigation or investigative skills. A male Nurse lied saying a patient refused medication and told him to leave the room. The patient was on the phone to another who can confirm the lies of the Nurse. The investigating person never asked to speak to the person on the phone for corroboration of the Nurses lies. Furthermore, the investigative person then accused the patient of swearing stating several "reputable" Nurses heard. The patient said they did not swear yet this fell of deaf ears. Of course a complaint made by the patient turns into the patient being blamed. When the patient asked what context the word was used, the Executive Investigator refused to say. When told the patient was on the phone and all conversations can be corroborated, the female Executive person once again refused to speak to the person on the phone to dismiss the lies of swearing. Why? Treatment was withheld by the male nurse for hours placing the patients life at risk. Nothing done with the original complaint by the patient about the Nurse. The lack of investigation is appalling. Blaming a patient falsely of swearing then refusing a proper investigation of their complaint is totally unacceptable.

Since moving into the area this is the first doctor I've decided I will go back to. The surgery itself is fine. There's parking around the back, but if you're lucky you might nab one out the front. It's relatively quiet. The staff are nice enough. My first visit here I did have to wait 2 weeks, then on arrival they'd booked me in for the following week. Why on earth would I want to book that far in advance (when I'd just wanted the closest appointment possible). However on other experiences I've gotten in that day, so I guess it's just down to luck. It's also one of those places that after you come out from seeing your doctor, you need to stand and wait in silence for the receptionist to decide that you are worth there time. No "sorry I'll just be a second" or even a knowing smile. Just ignored. Isn't that lovely? Or maybe that's just me. I don't get served at bars either, who knows... Anyway, no bulk billing I think it's around $70 for an appointment and they can do your medicare back at the counter.

Maybe it's because this isn't the only QML Pathology in Chermside, and there are more branches in nearby Aspley. They have a TV in the waiting area to make the wait more bearable, and there's about a dozen chairs in the waiting room. So they must get busy at some time during the day. There is also a dedicated parking area just outside of the Pathology entrance, for about 12 cars. There is a 2 hour limit on these parking spots.

The lady who I dealt with at Chermside QML was nothing like this and is exactly why they are getting 5 stars. I went in on a Sunday, and turned up right at 8am when they open. Lets talk about this for a second - they are open Sundays. I believe they are the only one this side of Brisbane who are. Which is why I was so surprised I was only one of two people waiting. When I got back in my car it was 8:06. That's how long it took her (who's name I wish I asked) to do all the paperwork and take my blood. Impressed. Plus she was lovely. Easy to talk to and in a good mood. Thank you! Brilliant. No longer will I dread going just because its not a nice environment. There are car parks out the front on Wallace St, but I'd suggest it may get full on weekdays. Obviously I'm happy with my experience with the staff and open Sundays is a bonus. If you're looking for a nicer experience and not just being a number I'd suggest Chermside QML on Wallace St (there's actually a few in Chernside!).

Scan results and the doctors report are made available to you through a personalised login portal online and they are posted quickly. This is a privatised business and as such only standard X-rays are bulk billed. All other scan types are eligible for a Medicare rebate if the criteria is met. The costs per scan are considerably higher than all other radiologists I could find in this area, however their availability is the quickest around. They have been able to quote a next day appointment where others were over a week. The difference was $150 after rebate, around $100 more than everyone else. The rebate is returned within 3 business days as standard. Low star rating is purely based on the staff attitude. I'm not sure if everyone is just having a bad week, but after attending this establishment two times within a week, I've been consistently appalled with the lack of polite greetings, poor attitudes.

He was my practitioner through both on my pregnancies and now also tends to my children when they are unwell. He is a great doctor for children and always goes out of his way to make them feel at ease - mine always leave with a huge smile on their faces. There have been a few instances over the years where Dr Ong has been unavailable and I have had to see other doctors, they are all very friendly and professional. I recommend this Centre to anyone new to the area or anyone just looking for a new GP. Most of the Doctors here bulk bill for regular patients which I find is very uncommon nowadays.

I just received a call from my partner saying that they know "nothing" about this and he is sitting there in the waiting room struggling to breath..... Patient safety doesn't seem to be a concern here .... Not very happy. Will be changing clinics!
