The Burke name to me is synonymous with excellence & quality so after my Total hip replacement…read moresurgery when my visiting nurse listed it as one of the places I could continue my therapy at- I jumped at the opportunity to sign up. I'd only heard about the one in Westchester county & wasn't sure they were even affiliated, turns out they are. I was not disappointed either! There's is a tiny waiting room in an almost Tiffany blue building on a stretch of Westchester Ave. that sits between the Middletown Rd. train station & a quiet little nabe. The building is shared w/ a pre- K school for lil ones- I mention these details because if your not careful you could drive right by it. My therapist is a very serious but sweet young man named Mr. Perez- very professional & very good at what he does. I was walking w/o my cane after just two visits!!! He really stretches my muscles, give them a good workout. My leg muscles are getting stronger with every visit. I'd recommend this place to everyone. The other therapist are equally sweet/ professional with all your best interests at heart. Office staff etc. everyone's very professional & timely- I've NEVER had to wait for my sessions- I get there on time- we go to work. I've attended other places in the past but Burke is the ONLY one I'd wholeheartedly recommend to all. Check w/ your insurance carrier then give them a call you be pleased.

I was informed that my insurance had to be verified, ( I had a prescription from a sports medicine Doctor) yet 28 hours later no confirmation. Called and spoke to a therapist and was told that my appointment was at 4:00pm yet made it for 8:00am plus no verification of insurance had been done. Too bad , their services were much better years ago, now nobody seems able to properly perform simple tasks .Needless to say , I cancelled the appointment . I f this is indicative of services provided, look out!

Always make you feel welcome by greeting you by name and makes you feel like family. Willing to work with your schedule. Never a dull moment. The establishment is always filled with laughter. I have been a patient over the last few months. This establishment got me back to work. Without them I would have been lost. Great muscle strengthening, posture building and body mechanics being taught. Great hands on body works done. Great place to do therapy after an injury. Thanks to their awesome team of therapists Ted, Russell, Brian and Kim. Other great team members Trevor, Rein, Laurie, Melissa and Conrad.

Whether it was recovering from neck and shoulder injuries or two total knee replacements, the treatments were totally successful. The staff is well-trained, cordial, respectful and, perhaps most important, attentive to making sure that the exercises are performed to perfection to ensure maximum recovery. While I hope that I won't need physical therapy ever again, it's comforting to know exactly where I'll go to receive it Thomas Chartier

The first session went well; the PT was professional and the staff was courteous enough. However, when I showed up for the second session, the receptionist, Angelica, informed me that the session had been cancelled and the PT was not in the office. I had taken off work and moved an important meeting to show up, so the fact that no one called or texted me was extremely inconvenient. The receptionist, Angelica, showed absolutely no emotion or concern; she didn't make any eye contact with me and behaved in a bizarre and robotic way, just clicking on the computer without acknowledging me at all; there was a total lack of any kind of social ability. While it's highly possible she is neurodivergent (in which case her behavior makes sense) this is a business, and if someone at a business makes a mistake, the mistake should be acknowledged and the inconvenience to the customer should be remedied. I won't be coming back here.

Unfortunately less than a month, my mother got MRSA. She had to be hospitalized and in the hospital she recovered. The only thing this facility got going for them is that they have excellent wound care and the respiratory therapist are good. The nurse practitioner was amazing. Unfortunately my mom was in a room with three other patients and I believe somehow, someone didn't clean their hands properly and that's how she acquired mrsa. This facility is so dated. I felt like I was in one of those movies from the 1940's. It was so dated that most of the machinery took up so much space in the rooms. I refused to bring my mom back because she acquired this terrible bacteria. Joselin was their representative and she was not so helpful with anything. The nurse in the front I believe his name was Harry was a diamond in the ruff. Thank you for doing everything you could for my mom. But unfortunately, I could not recommend this facility.

Where do I start. My grandmother was a resident at splitrock for post stroke rehabilitation; she…read morehas a tracheostomy and feeding tube and this facility was one of the few that accepted patients with her condition. There are a few good staff but not enough. The social workers Bianca Berkemeryer was by far the worse, unapproachable, incompetent, always MIA either at lunch of at "meetings" and neglected to follow-up on residence concerns. My grandmother was neglected and mistreated which resulted in a Stage IV pressure ulcer and a new stage II ulcer that was never reported to my family. I do not believe the staff was aware she developed a second pressure ulcer on her back. It was discovered when we took her to the emergency room for escalation of care and proper management of an advanced ulcer which is associated with major health risk and death. My grandmother suffered at the hands of certain providers who neglected to provide the care that she needed. While they might have the perfect plan on paper, it was poorly executed. We visited everyday around the clock from 8:30a-8pm. We left there every night worry about her well being and concerned she would die prematurely from failure to provide basic needs. I worry about the current residence who do not have a proper support system. We lost complete confidence in the team and believe their system is designed to set patients up for failure. We were truly hoping to provide positive feedback. After she was discharged from the ER, she was admitted to another facility and immediately we noticed a difference. The communication has been seamless, a care plan was established on Day 1 and she received medical equipment that actually work. At splitrock for weeks she laid on an air mattress for to alleviate pressure for the ulcer however never worked and was broken and was connected to an oxygen tank that needed servicing... My grandmother was in a room with three other patients who we disruptive, we asked for another room but they only responded when the staff realized we were transferring her to the emergency room. We are immensely disappointed and an apology is not enough to makeup for the suffering she endured.
