We have a home in Gulfport, MS and have been a customer for years, but after requesting a simple change to our renewal date, we were met with inflexibility and demands to pay the full year upfront. They even threatened collections if we didn't comply. We're honestly shocked--they seem more willing to lose our business entirely than to work with us on a reasonable request. Upon further review and current evaluation I stand by my previous experience with Redd pest solutions. I have been treated respectfully with the most professional pest control services since I quit business with Redd Pest Solutions. Sometimes you don't realize how terrible you are being treated until you are treated correctly. Redd pest solutions would say they were going to be conducting services and then failed to provide those services. If you're not watching them, if you're not chasing after them to come back and complete the job, then rest assured they are not taking care of you. Over the telephone they'll take your concerns or complaints and tell you everything you want to hear and then send out the most inexperienced untrained, unprofessional cussing employees. But it works for them! Think about how much they're saving by not completing the job that you're paying for. It's not honest business practices, to say you're going to check the bait stations and then not, or say you're going to treat the ant mounds and then not. The pear tree they killed never grew back. They didn't know where the termite traps were placed, failed to know how many there were, failed to inspect the very expensive termite bait stations I paid to have installed. I paid Redd huge dollars to have termite stations installed, but they don't know how many there were? I paid for them to track them and to maintain them ever 6 months yet they don't know how many stations there are or where they are. Nor did he care to find out when I questioned him. But he was their best guy! A genuine entomologist! When I wasn't home they came to my property removed the bait stations and sent me an email that they completed the removal of the number of bait stations which were less than the number I paid for. Did they charge me for bait stations they did not place? Yes, I think so. My dogs dug up a bait station in their fenced area and the station was laying on top of the soil on its side. My expectation(per conversation) was for Redd Pest to reinstall them into the soil, but instead they just left it there on top of the soil. Shameful! And definitely not the services that I was promised during the smooth sales-pitch by the very spiffy gentleman. I'll call it the bait and switch read more

I needed a pest control service to spray my tiny rental home every quarter per the recommendation of the technician, Matt in October 2020. The service has always been fast and well communicated up until I have to move again for work. Per our discussion over the phone back in October, Matt told me that I would be able to cancel my quarterly services at any time for any reason. I am moving back to Las Vegas, NV at the end of July. I called today to cancel a month and a half before the next service was supposed to be scheduled and was told that I still have two more quarterly services before the end of my contract. I was told by Matt that there would be no early cancellation fee or termination charges which is what made Redd Pest Solutions stand out from the rest. I thought it would be ideal for my situation if I decided to break my lease early and move back for work. I probably rushed through signing the one page handwritten "contract" while the technician was getting ready to spray my home and explaining to me that I am "not locked into any plan, they will just call to schedule a visit every 4 months." I totally get that I should have taken more time to read everything before signing, however, I have a digital copy of the contract and it doesn't even have a starting date on the "annual contract" if there even is one. This entire situation feels sneaky and I wouldn't take the time to write this review unless I feel like I was truly lied to. It was a complete bait and switch. I was told that I was not on a contract by Matt and then found out 9 months later that I was in a contract which is infuriating. I still have to pay for a service that I don't need. The service is great and deters bugs from entering my home but I feel the person, Matt shouldn't have lied to me about cancelling my recurring visits without a penalty. In the big scheme of things, $70 doesn't seem like that much of a loss but when you're having to move and spend $1700 on a moving truck, $400 on pet boarding, $1200 on hotel stays, etc... The $70 for a service that I don't need for a house I don't live in just seems like a proverbial middle finger from Redd Pest Solutions. The polite pest management supervisor, Arik explained to me today that I signed the paperwork and at least my charges over the past months were less than what most other people are paying. Most people are paying "$80 per spray" so I should feel good about that. Lol thanks Arik, that really helps make me feel so much better. Just kidding. Everyone, this is another reminder to read what you sign and ask questions to have proof to back you up in these types of situations. I was tricked into something I didn't want because the technician was friendly and probably receives commission making him more driven to get another customer. I've used Redd Pest Control for 6 years here at Stennis Space Center. They have kept my School and football fields pest free in the middle of a swamp! The spray tech is a professional who set trap for rodent, sprayed for all types of bug, and gave me advice on Bed Bug removal for my small 80 bed hotel complex. Thankfully, After a long search no bed bugs were found. The spray tech was very careful in my restaurant area to not contaminate any cooking areas or utensils. All bugs who do get in are dead quickly! My warehouse is mostly free of pests, spiders are almost impossible to stop as per Redd but they spray every month to keep the population down. I'm very happy with the price of service for the value received. The ladies in billing are very helpful and payment is easy to resolve. I'm a fan. read more

All of their people are very professional and knowledgeable. These guys spray both at my office and at my personal home. I wouldn't ever use anyone else.
