This is a tiny market that had only five unimpressive stands (×2 fruit; ×1 tamale; ×1 eggs; & ×1 clothing/jewelry) on the day I visited. Here are some quick facts: -All the stands accept EBT (aka food stamps) -Located in the Sun Dial Bridge parking lot, in the Turtle Bay Exploration Park. -Runs on Sundays only from June 8th - October 19th, 2014 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. Check the Healthy Shasta website for the 2015 schedule, but I reckon it'll be similar. I was not impressed with the TBFM, and it should be a 2-star review. However, to be fair, I caught them at the end of their season, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and bump it up to 3-stars. Eat fresh!

I've visited the market about 3-4 times over the past few years, and always see varieties of fruits and veggies I can't find in Sacramento. The fruit is a bit pricey (i.e. $5 for basket of blackberries), so I did not get any this trip. I always stop by Guzzetti's for amazing Indian food. I usually get the samosas but this trip I got the garden bread and eggplant bread, with the fire roasted eggplant dip. My husband was upset that I didn't buy double everything lol. On my next trip I'll have to stock up, as there's no place in the Sac valley that I am aware of, that makes dips and breads in such amazing combinations. Vegan and vegetarian options available. I got dinner Tamales Jalisco (tamales, rice, beans) which was delicious. There's also a truck that sells fresh lemonade, kettle corn and snow cones. Beautiful flowers for sale, and booths of other local, non-food businesses are there also.

Husband & wife team (Owners at Eppersons) were recently at a collector sale I attended to find…read moreitems for their auction. They were extremely rude to the lady having the sale, belittled her, tried to harass her into lower prices such as $10 for $100+ items. Told her " you have 2 of this item" as if that excuses their behavior. They hid high priced items under lower priced items in boxes so the lady couldn't see them. Grabbed items the lady told them were not for sale, or already pd for by other customers. They removed items from their boxes so it looked like the items were still there. This young Lady didn't see half the items they snuck out to their truck as there were 20 customers at a time. When they left the husband could be heard yelling obscenities all the way out to his truck. Very intimidating and disrespectful. I have seen this couple do the same to people at other sales in the past
