We booked a pick-up online (their preferred method) for 6:30am, headed to the airport to catch an 8:15 flight. We received a confirmation e-mail. 6:30 came and went ... no limo! We called, got voicemail ... texted, no response! We finally threw our luggage into our car and raced to the airport. We made it just in the nick of time but only because everything came together just right. We came dangerously close to missing our flight! We left several messages on Columbia Taxi's voicemail ... nearly 12 hours later we have not heard a word from them! I can only assume that they have all the business they need and aren't concerned about losing loyal customers!

I was actually stranded by Rapid Ride (The county's new transportation service). I quickly found out that they are unreliable. I searched to see what my other options were (Uber is not one as they initiate with one price but will take a much higher amount). I saw Ride Taxi on the Yelp listing and called. Within a few minutes I had a ride with a very cool driver. I wasn't going far and the price was reasonable. I made it safely to where I was going and I was in the company of a very friendly and safe driver. They will be my first choice for safety, convenience, and reliability.

Most importantly, we have found them to be 100% reliable, they always arrive when they say they will, even when we are being picked up from Dulles after having been gone a long period of time. Most recently, we realized during our layover, only a few hours before we needed them, that we had forgotten to book the pickup before leaving on our trip. When I called them to see if we could arrange a last-minute pickup, they accommodated us with no problems, and were there shortly after we landed.

The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself.
