The bus was prompt, modern, quiet and comfortable. Electronic charging station worked well. The driver was polite and professional. The schedule was achieved with precision. Yes, Amtrak might have been marginally quicker, but you're paying for parking at Penn Station (or BWI) and that experience is more costly and often less sanitary. I like the train, but the bus makes more sense if you live anywhere near any of its stops in the northern Baltimore suburbs. One note: the absence of the "bus counselor" (I think her name was Gloria) was a welcome omission. It's a more professional experience without the kitchiness. Doing away with the old Frank Sinatra song in the Lincoln Tunnel would be the next step toward professionalism, but I can tune it out mentally.

Their prices for bus rentals are reasonable. After pricing them with other local transportation companies for a charter bus, Woodlawn's price was much cheaper. Requesting a bus, getting a printed bus, and making a payment was fairly easy. They also respond quickly to emails. I was also able to call their number with ease, too. Back in June 2019, I used Woodlawn's services to take a group of middle school students to Hershey Park. The driver was professional and kind. The bus was clean and immaculate. There was plenty of room. Also, the bus was well-equipped with a dvd and TV system; this system definitely came in handy to keep the kids occupied and free from boredom. Our driver even had to drive back to MD in a rain storm, and he was able to do so safely. I'll be using them for future trips.
