Our normal company we use to use is slowing getting out of the business. We had to find someone and pretty quick. We looked up Absolute Recycling. The driver Ray was awesome. He was on-time, professional and very courteous. He explained all the details, cleaned up what little mess there was. He even had oil absorbent pads for his gear and feet as to not leave a mess. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained in detail the process although I couldn't always hear him because of the noise. We were given hard hats and eye protection while touring the warehouse for safety. The plastics from the orange hefty bag program are made into little pellets which are then made into plastic lumber which can be purchased factory direct for less than the big box stores charge. So glad I was able to visit!

When they surprised me with a bill, I told them I didnt sign up for anything like that, and didnt hear bqck from then for a few months - when they sent a message threatening to send a now mutiple month charge for something I never signed up for, and had cancelled months earlier. The design of the cart makes it easy to wheel to the curb even when it is full of heavy magazines and newspapers. The bi-weekly pick up schedule is well timed for my situation as the cart is usually full after two weeks. On June 2023 that Abe's truck hit my car in front of a Casey's, causing more than 4 thousand…read moredollars in damages, and then they blamed me on the damages they did to my car. June 21st 2023 I went to work and parked in front of Casey's and one employee of Abe's trash told me and another person, to move our cars out of the area because a Abe's truck is going to back up and pick up the trash of the store. The person parked next to me got of the parking space almost at the same time as me, so once I completely moved out of the parking spot I waited for this person to park in the new parking spot that way I can move too; when out of nowhere the Abe's truck started to back up from the other side othe parking lot to my direction, I didn't notice because I was waiting for the person in front of me to park but there is a video. The Driver named Kenneth backed up form the other side of the parking lot and RAMMED into my car. I was furious but I kept my calm I was never disrespectful to Kenneth but I was upset, he apologized and gave me his info and his insurance info, he said his BOSS whats to tak to me so I gave him my phone# but he never communicated. So I talked to their insurance and waited for them to talk to the driver. The next day I called the insurance and to my surprise Kenneth and the other employee of Abe's blamed me for the accident. This can happen to you and Abe's as a company and their insurance can be difficult and stressful to deal with. I WILL PROCED LEGALLY with Abe's, that day I called the police and they said I can count on them, also I have a witness, theother driver who was parked next to me, and I have a video from the store. It is frustrating to deal with people who try to take advantage of others specially when I was never disrespectful to the person who did this.
