We had to replace our 18 year old furnace. The first furnace was damaged when it came in. Not Redeemed fault. The first tech was here 8 hours and worked the entire time. My house has zones and is a little difficult. Justin came out at 7 am to complete the job. while I wish it would have been quicker, I felt that Justin and his team cared about our situation and getting us heat before the temps dropped. read more

I was told by the rude girl that answered the phone that Redeemed refused my home warranty claim to fix my A/C because the outside temperature needs to be above 65 degrees, and guess what, this Friday it will be 70 degrees. Absolute worst service ever. Incompetent technicians. Arrived without giving notice. Had no idea how to replace outside water faucet on a new home. Brought a trainee with him. Gave an unreasonable quote from his "ipad". Still charged us $90 for nothing. Was barely at our home 10min and had no idea what he was doing. Refused to give refund. Receptionist was no help. Cinch Home Warranty (my Sears warranty agreement provider) has sent me 4 different service companies the last four years. Although the techs are nice, only one provided good service and Redeemed is NOT it. 40 days after my service call (where the tech said give us a call if you have any issues and we will come back without a trip fee) my A/C went out. I called but the scheduler would not book an appt without a pmt. I called another company and found out the batteries to my thermostat were dead and the unit had not been cleaned (which I was told is standard practice for maintenance visits.) My freon level was overcharged and 1/2 lb was recovered. He worked hard over an hour to get temp differential to 20 degrees and I was back in business. I may have said a nice thing prior, but DON'T use or TRUST this inadequate organization and the technicians they have on staff.. Long read, promise it's worth it. Basing yourself off being Faith based you should be ashamed of themselves!!!! I was assigned Redeemed by way of my Warranty Company, American Home Shield, the day before Thanksgiving 2023. Things were bad from the first technician that came to my home. My hearting unit ran continuously without kicking off. The tech and I spoke and I helped showing him the issue. As we talked and I explained more, I told him it's better if you hear the outside unit as well, because you're the expert. He literally replied, I'm not an expert and I'm new to this. He was on his phone constantly with his owner, while in my attic, where my furnace is, and in my home. He ended up installing a new thermostat, that he wired to only run on EMERGENCY heat, which he didn't tell me and said you're good to go. Ran out the door saying he thought he had a short day, but it just filled up. So many more calls followed because my heat STILL ran continuously. Another technician came, didn't do anything and said that he didn't have the proper equipment. Then another came, purged a line and put stop leak in it. Worked for 2 days, then recommended a new unit. Didn't have that for 3 weeks, because of AHS. THEN, the install... The two guys show up, mismatched furnace and outside unit (AHS PROBLEM), go to install and no heat. This is where I came to find out, by way of the installer talking to the other installer in my attic that the first tech had cut the wires to normal heat, reworked wrong in attic and only left emergency wired. The installer said well this should work. Finally some heat. But, they packed up and didn't wait for cycles to see if it worked correctly, just took off as quick as they could. No explainations, nothing about we found out what happened... just split! Unit wouldn't kick off when it hit a degree above the set temp. I made more calls, another tech came, messed with stuff and said if I should program your thermostat. Since he programmed it, it kicks on stage 1 and stage 2 (stage 2 is emergency heat and shouldn't happen unless below zero). I told him and he fed me some crap that it's normal for stage two to kick on all the time with electric key even if it isn't emergency.. BS!!!! Additionally, REDEEMED damaged my ceiling with water, as they uninstalled the furnace from my attic. They left water marks in my kitchen ceiling, that appeared the next morning. I called and they didn't come out until 5 days or more after to address constant running issues and the water stain. REDEEMED said, well, it's not our problem because you can't prove it. My unit still isn't running correctly after install and I've called AHS to hopefully have a better company come correct their screw ups. I can say there was one technician that was nice and he tried to be helpful, but he still, in the end, blew smoke up my you know what.. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! Stay away from this company. Hottest summer yet, they told us on two occasions they would submit information to our home warranty company. Each time we gave them a day to submit then followed up. Then found that they didn't submit anything and won't because they don't work with that home warranty company. I called and talk to Ashton who said we would have to submit the information and we would have to pay out of pocket then go to the home warranty company. Okay. I need the estimate. They gave me a two line estimate. I needed line item and called Ashton back. She said she would get it to me. That was on a Thursday. Nothing from Redeemed on Monday by 3:00. I call again and talked the receptionist who came back on the line and said I was to talk with Justin. He argued with me that he doesn't do anything with my home warranty company. I was asking him to but what I needed was a line item estimate. He can't give that to me because my home warranty company will try to not pay for items. But I'm paying out of pocket it doesn't matter. I could not get this person to understand that it was not about the money part, I'm fine with their rules. What I wanted him to understand was that multiple promises were made but nothing done with the promises. They have left us in the 100+ temperatures for 9 days with nobody doing anything. Nobody communicating. I now have to find another company to fix our air conditioner. This is the worse vendor I have had to deal with for many years. Trust me...stay away from this company! They were quick and fixed not only the AC but found where my heat exchanger was also damage and quickly went to work to fix it.

My HSA (Home Warranty Sevice assigned Redeemed to make a repair to our washing machine back in early November. The technician came and ordered a new agitator for the washing machine. About two weeks later the technician came back to install the agitator, still not noticing all 4 drum balancing arms being broke. In the meantine, the same technician was highered to look at our propane wall heater. The pilot light was not staying lit. After cleaning the heater valve, the heater worked better, but still needed the part replaced. Technician left thinking the washer was fixed and a part was coming for the heater. When I started my washing machine it spun so violently that the hose came out of the wall and flooded the laundry room. Technician came back and determined the balancing arms that hold the drum in place needed all 4 arms replaced. Parts were ordered. Washer and heater parts come in. Technician comes back, we are now in late December, the part for the heater is incorrect and the technician broke it in the heater and broke the heater by trying to force the part to fit. Only 1 of the 4 arms needed came in. Technician left again to order correct heater part and the additional balancing arms for the washer. Mid January. Washer parts finally come in. Redeemed schedules and cancels three appointments to put parts on and decides they will not fix the heater, due to the incompetance of their technician writing the repair order for a space heater (not covered by the warranty), instead of a wall furnace, (which it clearly is). And NOT TO MENTION YOUR TECHNICIAN BROKE IT!! Now because I contacted the BBB they are refusing to complete or fix any work at my house. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

** I asked the owner to call me to discuss my negative experience on several occasions, and he is yet to call me to discuss concerns. Horrible experience! We filed a HSA (home warranty) claim in May 2022 for A/C not working correctly. The company came out and added some freon. Called HSA again in June as the A/C started to not cool again. Company came out and said I was low on freon again. Put some more freon in and as a precaution, checked to see if I had a any leaks at the air handler coil. Visit 2 - Tech snapped the TX valve while checking for leak. Ordered TX valve Visit 3 - Tech installed new TX valve. Visit 4 - Tech discovered they installed wrong TXV. Order correct TXV. Visit 5 - Install right TXV. Air handler motor somehow decided to quit working. Order new motor and control card. Visit 6 - Install new motor. Visit 7 - Came to look at motor never turning off. Stated that the new motor and card was also bad. Ordered new Air Handler Visit 8 - Install new air handler. Techs left early before job was complete. I took numerous pictures. Outside unit casing left off. Breakers zip tied. Electrical cable insulation exposed. Cabinet electrical grommet not attached. Water to Air heat exchanger replaced at a slant. Ductwork strap not reconnected. Visit 9 - Techs come out 2 week later to complete install job. Air handler breakers zip tied in and wrong thermostat installed. New breakers ordered. Discovered that they ordered a single speed air handler where we had a variable speed air handler. In short, replaced a Corvette with a Pinto. Visit 10 - New breakers installed. Breakers still don't fit and are zip tied in. Ordered new breakers once again. Visit 11 - Install 3rd set of breakers and a thermostat that I had to purchase. To top it off, they had the nerve to charge my $628 for misc. charges. Since they have a mechanical lien, I had no choice but to pay. They then called me up and said that they made a mistake and I needed to send them another $100 (even though my paid invoice states paid in full) I called the HSA warranty company numerous times to request a difference vendor and was told that I had to stay with Redeemed as that's who started the job. Many times the diagnosis that HSA said redeemed sent in was incorrect and exaggerated to make it look as if 'it just broke'. I was also told that one of the techs took home the NEW ECM motor that 'would not work'. This tech also said that they believed the wiring was hooked up incorrectly and that's why the EMC motor would not function correctly. That was a $2000.00 new motor and control card. Out of everyone that came, there was only 1 tech that I feel went out of his way and knew what he was doing. read more

My encounter with Redeemed was very unpleasant. The serviceman did everything possible to screw up the insurance claim, not sure it was his extremely poor communication skills or he was not interested to do the job. Upon my repeated request to order the part since the warehouse was about to close in 1/2 an hour and if insurance (Home Shield of America- a worthless company) would not pay for whatever reason I will pay them so we can have our AC working. It was 92 degrees here in town but he did not care. I have told the office a day before that we needed the blower motor and the lady in the office assured me that we are well stocked and the serviceman will bring the motor with him since I had given the specs to the office. The technician was stubborn and he had no clue that he was suppose to bring the motor. A total communication breakdown. I explained to serviceman that another company technician looked at the unit and told Me what motor is needed which I passed along to the office staff. Half of the work was done for this guy already but he was in such a rush to go to next appointment that he did not care that we did not sleep in our house a night before since AC was not working but he did not care. Pretty worthless experience with Redeemed service department and office were less than one would expect from a respectable service company. Both were horrible and very insensitive to customer's needs. I would never recommend Redeemed to anyone. We finally called Thompson Heating and Cooling company in town. The folks at Thompson were awesome and bent backward to show their willingness to help. read more

The Redeemed team removed my furnace to install a new one. The furnace they had brought to replace the old one was the wrong size so they had to go back to the warehouse to get the right size. They did this twice before they realized that don't even have the correct furnace in stock and had to order it. So they put the old furnace back in and when they did so, they didn't tighten any of the fittings. As they were leaving, I said, 'I smell gas.' The installer told me that was normal when removing/installing a furnace. I left my house for about 5 hours and when I returned the smell of gas was so strong in the house I got an instant headache. I called 911 and they told me to get out of the house immediately. I grabbed my 3 dogs and got out of there. The fire department and **** Utilities arrived, turned off the gas and aired out my house. Neither could believe that such shoddy work was done with something as dangerous as gas. The fire department remarked that it was a miracle that the dogs were even alive. A week later I got the new furnace put in. I wanted to speak to the owner about this whole situation but no one would put me in touch with him. When I finally spoke to the manager, his attitude was, 'you got your furnace put in so what else do you want? There was no real apology. Nothing about looking into the gas leak situation so this doesn't happen to someone else. Nothing. The manager was just rude and uncaring. Be careful hiring this company. You run the risk of your house exploding from a gas leak. They have no idea what some of their installers are doing. read more

While the company is as capable as any HVAC company in the area, be warned that if you are using a Home Warranty,  that REDEEMED Heating and Cooling will mark up the cost under modification that most warranty companies do not cover.  I get it they don't make much on warranty work so they pad it, the amount in my case under modification they added another $850 dollars to my out of pocket cost.  My advice check with your warranty company and in most cases I now know there is any option to choose your own installer; I would not choose REDEEMED. read more

Reported issue 5/16 and contractor came out 5/18 Called contractor 5/18 for timeline on part and was told I would get call back. Called 5/22 was told shipped wrong location and it would arrive and be installed 5/25. 5/25 part was installed AC unit still not working, compressor diagnosed as problem. No timeline given. Called 5/25 before 5 and asked for callback with timeline. No callback left, no voicemail left. Called HSA 5/25, was told they would email for diagnostics and part needed to be ordered and shipped to contractor. 3-5 days. Rep said she would mark it high priority due to length of issue. Asked if not resolved what next steps would be, was not given a resolution outside current information above. Called contractor 5/29 and was told no part was ordered and she was going to call the worker to find out what the hold up was. Had no answer why previous calls not returned. Called on 5/30 - was told part wasn't authorized by contractor when I proactively called them, called HSA who said they had, called contractor and told them to order the part and they told HSA they would get part local and install ASAP. PArt wasn't ordered till 5/31 and was supposed to be installed this week but Justin has cancelled it because he didn't like the review I left on facebook. read more

I bought a home a year ago that came with a warranty, Redeemed is a service provider in this area for the warranty company. It turns out that the Lennox system I have installed to heat and cool my house is fairly unreliable due to poor design and finish work. Redeemed has been out to work on my system 5 times now. The techs (justin) are always friendly and knowledgeable and they have managed to keep me afloat two summers in a row. They send alerts via text and provide an ETA which is helpful. The response time is slower during the busy season, but that's because they stay busy! I have been happy with their service and recommend them. read more

I would give Reedeemed a ZERO if I could. They totally screwed up my warranty claim by telling my Warranty company I required a complete replacement and needed an upgrade to my inside A/C duct work to make it compatible with the unit they said I had to buy. (I was even able to find 2 HVAC companies who if had received my warranty claim could have FIXED my existing unit at no additional cost to me other than the service call fee). After speaking to my warranty company who told me to call Redeemed back and tell them to resubmit the claim as a repair so it would be covered, Redeemed owner still refused to change the bid paperwork to say it was necessary to replace the unit and install upgraded parts inside my duct due to circumstances beyond my control (they likely screw their customers in the pocketbook because they hardly make any money off a general Home Warranty repair and need to force customers to replace entire units and replace a perfectly constructed pad beneath the unit and require upgraded parts to make everything work... just to make money because they are such a money hungry company!) Because my home warranty would not cover the "upgrade" Reedemed called out in their bid to my home warranty company, my home warranty wouldn't cover the parts required to upgrade my inside work to be compatible with the new unit I was forced to pay for. This will cost me almost $2,000 rather than the $75 fee my home warranty said it should, all due to reedemed fudging their paperwork to make more money off their customers. Also, they took WEEKS to get back to us after we agreed to the install of new unit and upgrades, all while the temps outside were over 100 degrees (and we have small children!). Service call after service call. Techs are friendly but expensive and were not able to fix my unit satisfactory. The last time I called about the fan motor they replaced I was told they would come by and take a look but they never showed and I never heard back. I'm in the real estate industry and moving forward I use other HVAC pros for my services and I don't recommend Redeemed to anyone. read more

Terrible!!!! I have been forced to use this company through my home warranty company and they are the very worst in town, perhaps in lots of towns!!!! When service has been requested the repair has NEVER been fixed properly. When I call them to come back, he refuses the call back. So, basically I've spent money for nothing. For the first issue, the contractor came out and performed the service as prescribed by the Home Warranty Company. There was an additional charge of $219. I asked what it was for. The contractor called his office and said 'Nevermind, we'll take care of it'. What they did was call HSA and tell them that I refused to pay. I then had to log yet another call with HSA for the same unit and it went to this company. They did not contact me, so I called them and they said that HSA had canceled the call. It turns out that THEY canceled the call with HSA for non-payment of the $219, but didn't tell me about it. I called back and paid them and asked why they lied to me. The unsatisfactory answer I got was 'I just do what I'm told' from the receptionist. For the second issue the contractor showed up, ordered a part and left. I didn't hear back from them for 3 weeks. I had called them several times and they didn't know any kind of status. The lack of communication was very poor. read more
