Because of his years of experience, he was able to quickly assess the damage and quote me a price on the spot. By the same afternoon, I received a written proposal for my roof repair. After two weeks of accepting bids for my roof repair, I chose Dutch's. They were not the cheapest but I personally felt that Mr. Duchess had the best grasp of what needed to be done with my roof. Much to my amazement, they were able to send a crew out to my home two days later. Granted, I had my roof worked on in the winter time and not during hurricane season. The crew started promptly at 7:30am and finished up around 3:30pm. The two roofers were friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what they were doing and the different stages of the repairs. Overall, the job was completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner. The scope of the work was finished as promised in the Roof Repair Proposal. With Dutch's Roof Repair, I did NOT have to put a 50% downpayment for the work as some other roofing companies require and that was a big plus. Payment in full is due the day of completion. I contacted the owner expecting them to stand behind their work, but instead I was told it would cost me even more money for them to come back and do what they originally said they were going to do.
