I visited Redemption Orthodontics in Tallahassee for a consultation over a year ago, and it's something I still think about to this day--unfortunately, not in a good way. I'm a 50 something-year-old woman, and during the visit, a young male staff member was assigned to do my scan. He used a handheld scanner (not sure what the technical term is), but the way he handled the procedure felt extremely rough and invasive. It made me very uncomfortable, and frankly, I felt violated by how forceful and insensitive he was during the process. It was absolutely done in a sexual way. It was upsetting enough that when we later sat down in the office to go over results, I was speechless, uncomfortable, and couldn't even look him in the eye. I am certain he has done this before. It's disgusting! The whole experience felt so unsettling that I left the office and never looked back. I ended up driving all the way to Georgia for my orthodontic care instead. That's how badly I needed distance from what happened there. I've gone back and forth about posting this review, especially because I know this office publicly promotes Christian values on their social media platforms. But in the end, I believe it's important for others--especially women--to be aware of how vulnerable a dental/orthodontic appointment can feel, and how essential it is to be treated with sensitivity and respect. My stomach turns every time I see the owners overly happy being which comes off so fake on their social media. It really makes me question... could they possibly know what's going on in that office. Children, most likely will not speak up, but that is why I decided to. Don't trust them with your children. Make sure you are right near your child at all times if you must go here. I hope the office takes this as a wake-up call to improve how they train and monitor staff, especially when working with adult female patients. What may feel routine to one person can feel deeply violating to another. Maybe you should have girls /women doing this consults, or make sure you really know who you have working for you and representing your dental office. read more

I Can not say enough good things about this office. I took my 6th grade daughter in for a consultation with Dr. Taylor and fell in love with the office, staff and upbeat environment. Amanda was very patient and thorough explaining treatment for my daughter in a way that wasn't overwhelming or pushy. She took her time with us and made us feel like family. Redemption Orthodontics is one of the best orthodoxy offices I have ever been to! I met amazing people as far as the one of the orthodontists and I believe his position is a type of technician (Connor) He has helped me with my Invisalign and how to take care of them and he is super friendly!!
