Upon recommendation from a friend, I decided to attend Holy Spirit and was very impressed by the solemnity of the church. Holy Spirit is very well organized and Father Charles offers many resources to help guide us in our faith journey. All of the priests here are great, I've left mass every week feeling different from how I came in, I have learned a lot through their homilies which not only talks about the historical context, but also offering stories that are relatable to our every day lives. I am grateful for all the resources available, and how well organized they are- daily masses, 24 hour weekly Eucharistic adoration, retreats and relics available for veneration special times in the year, among other things. Father Hoa is also great, he sings well and had a very beautiful Good Friday procession with the youth choir who sang the readings and Latin chants. I am very happy to call this my home parish and look forward to every mass I attend. I highly recommend this Parish.

Today there was a historical educational component to learn about the history of America - the foundational history component was enjoyable 2. It was extremely cold and I am very shocked the turn of emotions by Rebecca's demeanor. After reading other comments that are similar - I'm dropping my review from 5 stars to 1. Before you try this church please read the other comments on how this church will not help you in your time of need. 5/5 sermon but I won't be coming back... good luck Rebecca. ------------- The message finally came to me. Rebecca's "we do not do that here" translates to "we do not help people". Very obvious and relevant based on the negative reviews. It's shameful. However, if you are reading this review and you have not attended any churches - I would still encourage you to visit it to learn about Jesus if it's your only resort. Otherwise, I would recommend going elsewhere. May everyone find and lead like Jesus.

You don't feel a sense of judgment or condemnation when attending this church. I have tattoos, plugs piercings and other "non churchy" appearance attributes but that doesn't make a difference. When I attend Beachpoint HB I am looked at through the Lens of Christ. I am seen for who Christ sees me. I am loved on the way Christ loves me and how he intended us to be loved, through his people and in community. Children's program is great! Since this is the beginning of a church plant, there aren't an overwhelming number of kids in the youth ministry. There are just enough kids for your child to have community but also attain the attention, love and care they desire and need! The band is great! Numerous singers both male and female with different instruments. It's not like you're at a concert so you are able to worship without being drowned out by the awe factor of just watching instead of participating, but it's not your 1950's gospel hymn worship choir either. It's right in the middle, able to cater to Gods children's from all ages an walks of life! The Preaching great! Pastor Ken gives you messages that are from the scripture. He allows the spirit to lead him, he is humble yet confident. I don't fall asleep when he is speaking even when I am tired. He doesn't ramble and he keeps it to the point! Over all Beachpoint HB is a solid church! I love all aspects and can't wait to see what God will continue to do through this church in His people and trough out the community!

They recently opened in March, 2015 (as a plant of Beachpoint Church in Fountain Valley, off Magnolia and Slater). They meet Sunday mornings at 10am at Fuzion, an arcade game-and-eat type business, similar to Dave & Busters. Our interaction with everyone there was pleasant. Seemed like a nice group of people that love Jesus. The message was really solid too, judging by the past couple sermons, it seems like Pastor Ken is a devoted and passionate disciple - something we really hoped to find in the pastor of a church. While, we don't have kids yet, they seemed to have children's ministry for infants - 8th graders, with sufficient staffing. We'll be back...and I plan on beating my wife handily at skee-ball after church :)

Life Groups before the Sunday service are open to everyone and are organized by age. There is usually a light breakfast available upstairs with coffee and then a coffee/tea bar downstairs in the lobby as you head into the main service. Child care is often available at events organized by different groups in the church and since the church congregation isn't extremely large, it's easy to see familiar faces after coming only a few times. I haven't been in a decade and I don't know how long for him. Thank you for the volunteers outside that had signs in their hands, it made it so easy to see where we should go as we've never been here before. I cannot tell you how many different people greeted us while walking in and while inside. It truly was the warmest welcome. My uncle loved the coffee and snacks and could not believe they were for free. Again such a warm welcoming feel. We didn't know where to sit and an usher found us a seat right away. The worship team and worship leader were awesome. We didn't know the songs but that didn't matter. The message was straightforward and heartfelt. We were greeted again when leaving by multiple people. My uncle, the great skeptic, had nothing but praise about the whole experience. He just kept saying thank you for bringing me. This church is absolutely the hands and feet of Christ. This church is awesome!
