The pastor, PJ Mortenson is caring, spiritual, and well-versed in all things biblical and a really cool guy. The congregation is an eclectical mix of multiple generations. Whether you want to connect with a youth group or seniors or anyone in-between, the opportunities are available here. Services are always followed by fellowship and the coffee pot is always on. PJ's 4-legged companion, Emma is always at church with him and she will be happy to greet you if you let her. Although she is quite the large labradoodle, she has a gentle way about her. The church is a much needed part of the community as you will find it to be the meeting place for AA, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, and Gamblers Anonymous. It is also the location for the local food pantry. It may look like a small place, but they do big things every day. Check them out, you might like what you find.

I'm not religious, but I spent many quiet afternoons resting and meditating in this beautiful space during my college days at Marquette. I brought my child to campus recently, hoping to go inside, but the whole area is closed off to visitors due to the renovation. I'll have to come back another time. Worth a visit, if you are in Milwaukee and near the campus of Marquette University.
