Just a gorgeous structure and a reverent atmosphere.
Caity T.

This temple was dedicated in 2003, with a month-long open house (open to the general public) just prior. While the interior is no longer open to the general public, all are welcome to enjoy the temple grounds where you will find a fountain, benches, and grassy areas to relax. I have gone there to sit outside and read scriptures or spend time on personal reflection in my journal. This atmosphere is perfect for that. The temple grounds impart a reverent feeling, but you don't need to be wearing Sunday clothes to walk around and enjoy the peaceful vibe. Come as you are! (Bearing in mind, of course, that it wouldn't be appropriate to smoke or drink here). The temple sits right next to a church building where regular Sunday services are held, which anyone may attend. There are also full-time missionaries at church and on call if you have questions about the temple or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in general.

Very beautiful sacred place! If you have a chance go here. A smaller temple, but very personable volunteers.

The inscription on the exterior of the Redlands Temple reads "House of the Lord." A very appropriate description.

What a lovely surprise to see Lock In Your Love monument in Downtown Riverside!…read more I spent a good 30+ minutes walking around this heartfelt monument. It was great to see all the love birds and everyone else showcasing their love locks. Thanks for sharing with the world. There was quite a variety of unique and interesting locks. I took photos of some locks that resonated with me either by their style and/or what was carved on them. I personally didn't leave a lock on the day of my visit. I may have to return here with a lock of my own and leave it for all to enjoy. I have to go shopping for a lock now. Such a neat spot for a quick photo op and a short stroll around the cool locks! If you haven't been here before or have, but didn't leave a lock, swing on by and leave your love lock!
