45 bucks hair cut and beard, and at the end they tell me is even more expensive next time, well let me tell you there won't be a next time, I asked for a fade and what my barber did was just to basically place two lines on my hair, asked for my eyebrows to be cleaned and didn't even touched them, and also asked for a fade in my beard and did nothing just cut a little of my beards, you guys seriously need to hire more experience barbers. read more

My stylist was Lexi, what an absolute professional! Came in and Lexi asked how I'd like it styled and she knocked it outta the park. Such an incredible experience getting both hair and beard done. The true test was walking in the house and my wife saw my fresh cleanup and was immediately happy. Lexi gave me one of my best styles ever and was so nice. Lexi is vibrant and extremely positive and took such fantastic care of me while I relaxed and enjoyed the time in the barbers chair. 10 Stars outta 10! Went here due to a haircut emergency. I'm moving out of state, my regular shop was booked, & have my wedding anniversary Sunday. I walked in and the vibe was super chill. Comics to read, arcade games, movie posters, and classic rock & 80's metal blairing. I didn't have a preferred stylist as it was my first visit. I was paired with Amber. She definitely made me feel at ease and did a great job. Being exhausted from packing and work I wasn't too chatty, but that changed. I was looking for a new place to get a haircut, and I definitely found my place. Redline is a locally owned barber shop in Powell. While I went for the haircut, the decor is a bonus. I am a pop culture buff, and this place is decked out with themes of movies, music, comics, and video games. There is even a comic rack and a couple of arcade games in the waiting room. Heather provided a clean trim complete with a neck shave. She was very receptive to what I was going for, and I am pleased with the final result. Before going, I was able to easily book an appointment online with no hassle. While walk-ins are welcome, the appointment process was easy. They are tucked in next to Aldi with no roadside signage that I saw, and I would not have known about them had I not been leaving Aldi last week. My 15 year old was in need of a new haircut!! He really wanted a specific cut, that I was not sure his hair would work with.......Well, thanks to SHANE, he made it work. Throughout the cut he talked to my son about what he was doing and why. As he was blowing his hair dry, he explained how to do it, showed him techniques, and even had me come over and give it a try too. At the end of the cut, Shane explained more of how to achieve this look, showed us tools to purchase, and hair products from the salon that would be best for his style. Finally, he showed us some youtube tutorials that could be of some help if needed! Shane is excellent and we will be returning!! Actually, sooner than later to get a his hair done for homecoming. Asked for a haircut and showed them the picture he looked at it and said okay but my hair after looks nothing like the picture it looked good halfway through but he kept on cutting and cutting. It's like he totally forgot about the picture. Would not recommend if you want a good haircut. Would give less stars but I can't. read more

My hair in disarray, feeling like a shaggy bum, I set out in search of a barbershop open on a Sunday morning. Not having lived in North Columbus long, I had no idea where one might be, so to Yelp I went. Lo and behold, I came across Redline. Knowing nothing about them except for the fact that they are open on Sunday and had arcade games, I felt that I had to give them a try. I made an appointment, though it likely was not necessary. When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by a smiling gal eager to welcome me in. She introduced me to Amanda, my barber, and off we went. Amanda was nice, soft-spoken, and had a genuinely nice personality. Even better, my haircut was to my liking. My bushy neck was shaved, and a hot towel was thrown over my head, and my adventure into Powell was nearly complete. When Amanda delivered me back to the smiling gal at the front, whose name I must remember to catch next time --yes, there will be a next time -- I learned that my haircut was half price since they had just opened days before. Not only that, but I also got a free t-shirt, a bottle opener, and a plastic water bottle (which I needed since my last one flew out of the cockpit window of the Cessna 172 I was flying around over Plain City a few days before). AND I got a punch card so that 9 cuts from now I get one free! That'll probably be about a year from now, but hey, free is free! So, am I going back? Yep! The decor was cool, Amanda and the other girl were cool, and maybe I'll get there early next time to play Pac-Man. Need a haircut? Paying too much where you go? Check these people out! read more

I have wavy, unruly hair, and had an old-school barber for many years who gave me a good scissor-cut; unfortunately, he passed away several years ago, and I have been bouncing around from barber to barber for many years with unsatisfactory results. I found Redline during an online search and decided to give them a try. Paige cut my hair with the old-school scissor-cut where she pulls the hair and blends it just right. I could not be more pleased with the results. She did an outstanding job! I think I have finally found my new barber. read more
