Despite that, she was taken directly onto the road in the rain, the instructor was unpleasant and critical rather than supportive. She even claimed I had said my daughter had prior experience- which is completely untrue. The car smelled strongly of cigarettes (both windows open in the rain to air it out), and the overall tone was unprofessional from the start. My daughter came home in tears, and the company did not offer anything other than lip-service when I raised the issue. I would strongly recommend finding another driving school, especially for first-time drivers. It was a an absolute fiasco.

Even before the 6 hours of instruction began, Greg provided us with everything we needed to know about the lessons and road test. He put our minds at ease with is calmness and professionalism. He made our son's DMV appointment for the road test, picked him up at home on his test date two hours prior to the exam to practice a bit more. He showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and explained what they would be doing. He provided us with a checklist of what to bring to the road test appointment so that there would be no surprises. He called us from the DMV to tell us our son had passed and mentioned a few extra things that he should pay attention to. He even followed up afterwards with additional information he had researched. Now, I understand that I can't expect someone to be available 24/7 to answer a text, but after three days of no response after day one, I gave up and tried another driving school, where I was able to IMMEDIATELY reach someone by phone and schedule their services. You must be extremely persistent if you want to go to this driving school. I should have tried another driving school right away, honestly.

My experience with Another Mylestone Driving School was amazing...in a completely negative way…read more This small business is run by (just about) the rudest, most unpleasant woman I have ever had to deal with. She constantly brought up uncomfortable topics while I was driving, and texted nonstop instead of watching the road. She made me fetch her coffee at Dunkin Donuts at some point in ALL of our lessons (yes, really) and she was extremely impatient with me when I was learning to parallel park. Also, she pointed a RACIST JOKE at me at one point: the sun was in my eyes, and she asked me if I had dental floss in my eyes. Yes, I'm Asian, and yes, this really happened. It actually gets worse from here. During our last lesson, she had her enormous dog in the car. There was dog hair absolutely EVERYWHERE, and the dog disrupted me from driving (I didn't even know what to do at this point). Then, finally, on our way to the test, she was driving me there with her KNEE...while TEXTING. It sounds ridiculous, but ALL of this really happened. The only good thing that came out of this is the fact that I passed the test...but any fool can pass the road test. Another Mylestone is basically a business run by someone who just does.not.care. There are a lot of driving schools in the area, there's no reason to go with this one. You might end up dead, after all.

It's surrounded by big, old trees, so it's got a little bit of our woodsy vibe to it. The lifeguard staff is impeccably trained-constant head on a swivel, no texting at this pool. The concession stand sells water, ice cream, and soda mostly. Not a total rip off! You can get delivery food to the pool if you need something more substantial. Can't wait to come back.
