This morning, I woke up to a warm, soft ball of fur snuggled up against my shoulder. When I moved,…read moreshe purred louder, stood up just long enough to turn in a circle, then rubbed her cheeks against my face as she laid back down. She's barely left me all morning and as I write this, she lays curled up next to me on the couch. Ava is a joy in my life, and I often wonder how I was so lucky to end up with such an affectionate, playful, intelligent animal. She sleeps with me every night, and goes to bed when I do. She comes when I call, no matter where she is in the house or what she's doing. She warns me of visitors by standing alert and growling if anyone is at the door. Although she loves people, he's protective like a dog. She easily walks on a harness, and has learned that the harness and collar mean we're going outside, so she stands still and lets me put them on her. She plays games, loves canvas bags, makes the most adorable murder face if I hide half my face and stare at her. To break eye contact is to invite death from above. This cat adapted to car rides within a couple weeks of trial and error, and now will hop into a vehicle if someone holds the door open for her. She went on her first airplane ride (in-cabin) last month and aside from some crying at take off, was surprisingly well behaved without benodryl or other sedatives. All I used was a few spritzes of Feliway in her carrier. She didn't have any accidents, either, for the entire 8 hour commute. In fact, she came to us fully litter box trained and has never had an incident of going where she wasn't supposed to. As for size and markings, she looks so kitten-like and tiny to me, but according to United Airlines, as of last month, she weighs 12 pounds though she's incredibly lean. Then I see her next to a regular cat and realize she's huge. Her markings are lovely. She gets complements from random passers-by on a regular occasion. The most common question I get is if she's one of "those wild breeds". While Kelly makes no promises, I am allergic to cats. Horribly, horribly allergic, but Ava has never caused me so much as a sniffle. She slept nearly on my face when she was a baby, and not once did I ever wake up with itchy eyes or trouble breathing. As a breeder, Kelly has been fantastic. She met us halfway, in San Francisco, to pick up our new kitten, and a few months later when she attended a cat show in my home town, she texted me to let me know and invite me to meet up. Thanks so much, Kelly! You've given me a beautiful, loving companion.

Whenever someone is looking for a gorgeous Savannah in her area, I am always willing to offer a recommendation to her cattery and stand by my words. Congenital Elbow Dysplasia…read more It is with deep disappointment that I find myself writing this review. This review is not based on my puppy's genetic elbow dysplasia, as such conditions can occur through no fault of the breeder. Rather, it reflects my experience with how Kentfield Kennels handled the situation after being informed. In January 2024, we purchased a four-month-old started puppy from Kentfield Kennels. Her parents were Kentfield's Benelli Super Black Eagle ("Ben") and Kentfield's I'm a Barbie Girl ("Barbie"). The day after bringing her home, we noticed an abnormality in her gait. Concerned, we took her to our veterinarian the following day. Ultimately, we were referred to an orthopedic specialist, who performed X-rays and a CT scan. The diagnosis was devastating: bilateral medial coronoid remodeling and left elbow osteoarthritis--findings consistent with congenital elbow dysplasia. Given the severity of the condition, our orthopedic veterinarian recommended bilateral elbow arthroscopy. Our puppy underwent arthroscopic surgery on both elbows, followed by eight weeks of complete rest and 12 weeks of rehabilitation therapy. Despite these efforts, her prognosis remains guarded. As our orthopedic veterinarian explained: "While surgery will improve the puppy's current comfort and ambulation, her elbows will never be normal. The cartilage lesions secondary to elbow dysplasia will progress over time, and her osteoarthritis will likely require long-term management with pain medication and lifestyle modifications." I share this review for two important reasons: Transparency for Future Owners - If you are considering purchasing a puppy from Kentfield Kennels, particularly one bred from Ben and/or Barbie, you deserve to have this genetic history so you can make an informed decision about the risks and potential costs. Understanding Your Rights - California Health and Safety Code Sections 122045-122110, also known as the Polanco-Lockyer Pet Breeder Warranty Act (or "The Puppy Lemon Law"), provides protections for buyers in situations like ours. When I informed Kentfield Kennels of our puppy's diagnosis and requested they comply with the Puppy Lemon Law, I was met with resistance at every turn. I sent them three letters, provided all of our puppy's medical records, and included a declaration from our orthopedic specialist. Even after an independent veterinarian of their own choosing confirmed that our puppy had congenital elbow dysplasia, they refused to comply with the law. Left with no other option, I retained an attorney. Despite legal correspondence, they continued to refuse. Only after I formally filed suit did they finally agree--within just four hours of being served--to comply with the law and reimburse us for a portion of our puppy's medical expenses. We love our puppy dearly. She is intelligent, loving, and has an incredible personality. Writing this review is not something I wanted to do. However, both our primary and orthopedic veterinarians were unequivocal: this is a genetic condition. Despite having full knowledge of our puppy's diagnosis and the associated risks of breeding Ben and Barbie, as of the date of this posting, Kentfield Kennels has neither removed them from their breeding program nor acknowledged the issue. I feel I have no choice but to share this information so that others can be fully informed before making a decision.

I was skeptical at first because i did see the previous reviews and how there's not much on social media but i took the leap anyways. She was able to answer all my questions and let me visit her home with all the cute dogs. She had a nice contract that I reviewed. I had a long list of questions for her that's she was able to answer. Katsu was born in 4/1/2021 and she hasn't had any problems since. She's such a sweetheart with LOTS of energy. 100% golden retriever vibes that loves humans more than dogs. I love katsu so much and couldn't be any happier with her! No one knows where that spot came from, but I wanted that genetic deformity. It got smaller but it's still there! No health problems and all her vet visits are good. I was also able to speak with people who got puppies from annette as well and it really put my mind at ease!

Annette was open and accommodating, even helping fill in with some puppy care early after the adoption when we needed to do some travel. Puppy visitation was also accommodating and reassuring; we got to meet the pup's mom and her (last remaining) littermates; seeing the mom in person helped give us that final boost of confidence in adopting from this lineage.

Not like the tiny 22lb corgis I see in SanFrancisco. His mother was a tricolor, and she was beautiful. Shiela made me feel so comfortable about the adventure I was about to embark on. He has an off the charts herding instinct. I learned quick that it was important to get through the first few years at a fit weight, until he settled into his large frame. He's got the largest ears I've ever seen on a corgi! I'm grateful to Shiela and Potter Farm Corgis for my wonderful Ollie.

After an awful experience my other son had with a corgi backyard breeder from Missouri (puppy died at 6 months), Potter Farms was far superior. Our Potter Farms puppy was socialized, nearly potty trained, very happy, funny and above all, healthy. My son said the farm was clean and dogs were friendly. My son could call Sheila with any questions and she'd reply immediately due to her 40+ years of breeding. He said that Erica was very easy to deal with and communicated well with any questions. Since my son is living at home, Charlie has been with us since his "gotcha" day. We highly recommend Potter Farms for corgis.

She did mention that she moved out to Patterson instead of breeding in Sunnyvale. However, she was very flexible and accommodating so we FaceTime to see the puppies a week before I came to pick up Georgi. I was impressed with how clean the house was especially for housing many dogs. I was mention that the puppies come home crate trained. For the most part they are because they're so accustomed to sleeping in the crate and we didn't have any problems with her crying and such. She's potty pad trained but did have a little accidents here and there. I mean they're still babies, totally expected and understandable. Georgi is one of the best things. She's extremely cuddly and friendly. She loves everything that moves. She was a bit wild for the first few months but that's with any kids, that have energy. One of the best thing is that she's neither submissive or dominant. I've had my friends dogs try to dominate her and all she does is walk away and then she will return and attempt to play while sharing her toys. She loves loves to swim! Isn't afraid of loud noises because we took her out on July 4th to see fireworks. I'm obsessed with her and her little quirks. I'll attach ph Catherine, thank you for breeding incredibly friendly, easy to train, shed-free and loving dogs. Seriously one of the highest quality both cuteness and temperament.
