We got our 8 week old puppy from Catherine and he is such a great puppy. He came home already crate trained and pee pad trained. The horror stories that most puppy owners have of a crying puppy all night wasn't even real for us. He slept through the night easily. Everyday we've had him he has less and less accidents and in two weeks we've trained him to ring the bell to potty outside. She breeds super smart and friendly dogs. And his fur is soooo soft and zero shedding that you can't help but snuggle every chance you get.

We adopted Bagel from Catherine in Summer 2015. Bagel is now 1.5 years old.

I have waited for over a year before I write this review. We adopted a labradoodle from Catherine in Summer 2015. We have been extremely happy with their service and the health (both physical and mental) of our puppy. We first contacted Catherine around April2015 when we decided to get a labradoodle puppy. She let us know the approximate time that her dogs will have new babies, the expected colors and weight so that we can decide if that's the litter that we would look for. All the communications have been very thorough, efficient and honest. When we picked our puppy, we saw their home and how clean it was. We were impressed. We have also observed how much care Catherine & her family gave to the newborn puppies; how professional they were when it came to making sure the puppies have all their shots, deworming, spaying / neutering done at the right time. When we finally picked up our puppy when she was about 7 weeks old, our puppy was healthy and emotionally ready. Catherine let us know everything that we needed to prepare beforehand, and even some little things that never came to our mind (like when the puppy must have her next shot, when she is ready for the groomers, and how long we must wait until we can bring her to meet other dogs -- before our puppy's rabies shots were done and came into effect). We were extremely grateful for all the information we got. We are also happy with all the excellent and tidy paperwork that Catherine gave us. She showed us all the genetic tests that they had done on the puppies' parents and the name and location of even the earlier generations. Now that our puppy is 1.5 years old, I can say that she is extremely healthy and pretty. She is the star in our neighborhood! Our labradoodle brings so much joy to our house, our kids and our friends. I would recommend this breeder to all my friends who may want to get a labradoodle.

We could not be more happy with our beautiful Labradoodle puppy, Hawkeye, from Catherine Manor! We were expecting some anxiety and fear the first few days as he adjusted to life away from his brothers and sisters and mother - but he has been relaxed, easy-going, playful and so far has been so easy and fun to train. He has slept through the night each night in his crate (after we slowly crate-trained him the first day) and our whole family is in love with our new little buddy! We appreciated how Catherine made the time to let us visit our pup several times so that he got to know us. We saw both his parents, where he slept, played and interacted with his siblings. We felt confident that Catherine and her sons were honest and forthcoming about his history, and that they genuinely care for and love these dogs. Thank you Catherine Manor for our beautiful puppy!

We adopted our puppy Julie from Catherine Manor. Catherine helped us adopt the right puppy from the litter for our family. As first time pet parents, we had many questions and needed a lot of guidance. Catherine has been very supportive. Julie is now 10 months old, and she is adorable and has an exceptionally sweet temperament. Thank you Catherine

I undertook a significant amount of research on Golden breeders in the extended area, focusing specifically on hobby breeders that had wonderful sir and dam lines that were well documented and highly reviewed. Tammy and Dream Golden Retrievers fit the bill. From the first series of communications, Tammy was awesome. It is so clear that she loves Goldens, and she provided us with a WEALTH of information. Everything from how to prepare our home and children, to the best vet to select, to the best trainers in our area. I can't imagine doing this on our own after having Tammy's support. Visiting the litter it was clear she had such an amazing Mom (Willow) and Dad (Doc) - https://k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=1081443. Tammy was very thoughtful in selecting our puppy with our input, and our sweet girl Scout has been wonderful. She is a blast at home, very smart and picks up to training quickly, and even our trainer has told us that she "fell in love" with Scout! We provide a VERY strong recommendation for Tammy and Dream Golden Retrievers!!!!! Some pictures of our beautiful Scout :).

From…read morestart to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and so easy--communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring every step of the way. We selected our baby girl about a month ago, and she has been an absolute dream. She came fully potty trained and is the sweetest, most cuddly, playful, and friendly kitten. Truly, she is the best cat I've ever had. She's admired by everyone who meets her--family and friends are obsessed! My brother even calls her the "beauty queen" and says she's the prettiest cat he's ever seen. What impressed us most is her temperament. She's wonderful with other pets--my mom brings her dog over and our kitten is gentle and unbothered, and she's even fascinated (in the cutest way) by our bearded dragon. That speaks volumes about the care and socialization Irina provides. Irina is a trusted breeder who clearly puts so much love, intention, and expertise into raising top-notch kitties. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and will absolutely be back in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing experience from first contact!! I am a passionate dog rescuer. I have rescued countless (in…read morethe hundreds) of dogs from high kill Bay Area shelters over the past couple of decades. I even founded and ran my own rescue organization many years ago (Tails of Love), and my focus was rescuing the dogs who were dumped and then overlooked by adopters and other rescues (DOGS: Discarded and Overlooked Get Saved). Now I have a gifted child who is also neurodivergent and has significant sensory processing issues, OCD, and accompanying severe anxiety. I needed an "ideal" dog to train as a service dog, and since he will eventually be in school with her for many years, he has to be a low-shedding breed. I looked and looked in my networks and couldn't find a suitable candidate. I finally turned to RW&D, and I cannot find the words to adequately express what a dream our whole experience has been!!! Our tiny puppy is perfect, and already great with the potty training. We can't wait to start our service dog training when little Griffin (formerly San Luis Obispo from the Surf's Up litter) is old enough. I still believe wholeheartedly in adopting from shelters or rescues, but this experience opened my mind. Sometimes there's a need to buy, and if you are going that route, do not look further. Even if you have to wait, it's worth it! Hillarie and Warren are amazing. Take it from me. I rail and rage against the endless backyard breeders, and I can confidently state that this is not a backyard breeder. This is ethical, extremely conscientious and passionate breeding!

Was debating between a "farm" in the Sacramento region and Jam's, but saw red flags of likely a puppy mill at the other. Also, Jam took the time to talk to me because she wants to ensure that the pups are indeed going to great homes. Asked her if she had any pups available and she pointed me to the pup who is now my baby. His name is Bear (originally Wednesday), and I saw he was perfect. He is adorable and sweet and spunky. Drove down from Sacramento & got him in July 2023 and he will be 2 in February 2025. A lady stopped us on our walk the other day to say how much she was admiring him. Bear is the smallest of the bunch, but he is the head of the household. Thank you Jam!

We can't thank Jam enough for our sweet baby boy, Archie!…read more I have a soft spot for the yorkie breed. When my husband and I first met, I had a Yorkie named Maverick. We absolutely loved him and had no clue how lucky we were to have such a great pup. When he passed, we were heartbroken and after a few years adopted our pup, Isabella. She was a fearful rescue but after putting in the work, she's a great pup - though still stand off-ish and scared of people. At daycare, her reports cards always came home telling us she snuggled with her friends - two yorkies. It was then we decided that we'd eventually get her a yorkie sibling. When we finally got serious about adding a pup to our family, I started looking high and low for a reputable breeder. As someone who'd always rescued, I'd heard horror stories of bad breeders and am fairly certain that Isabella came from a backyard breeder before we adopted her. I was determined to find a breeder we could trust. We knew that with Isabella's fear issues, we couldn't have a second fearful dog that barked at everyone. Our hope was that we could find a well-socialized, happy puppy that might even rub off on Isabella. For that, we knew we needed to go with a breeder. I did extensive research on how to spot a bad breeder and felt like I knew enough to ask the right questions. Jam wasn't my first phone call. Before her, we spoke with a different breeder that came highly recommended from someone we met on vacation in wine country. After a few calls with that breeder, I saw several red flags and wouldn't move forward with her. Several more breeders later (& feeling more confident in what to look for), I found Jam's website. From my first phone call with Jam, I could tell that she LOVED dogs. She answered all my questions and then some. Importantly, she listened to what we were looking for in a pup. She asked questions about us, gave tips on how to evaluate a pup, and I never felt as though she was half-answering or dodging a question. She never pressured me to move forward. Best of all, her pups were raised in the home and even sleep in her room! When the puppies are 8 weeks old, they get introduced to the rest of the pack and socialize with her adult dogs. This was essential for us. With some conflicting obligations during the holidays, we couldn't pick him up until Dec 2 and so he stayed with Jam until he was 15 weeks old. He got an extra 3 weeks to socialize with the pack! We flew to the Bay Area to pick Archie up and from the moment we got there, we knew we had made the right choice. Archie has been such an angel! The absolute best disposition; friendly with other dogs and people. He is always so happy and boy is he SMART! He learned his name in one day - seriously - one! He's nearly all potty trained and he happily goes into his crate at night right next to his sister. He loves to explore and when things seem a tad too quiet, we find him sitting at the front window looking out into the front yard and sniffing. He loves chewing on his toys and rolling around in the grass in the backyard. And oh is he a daddy's boy - when he hears the car turning the corner, he starts jumping up and running towards the door. Although, he loves Isabella the most. From the moment he gets out of his crate in the morning and then all day long, he follows her, antagonizing her to play, snuggling up for naps, and watching out the window together. Archie was exactly what we - and Isabella - needed. A happy, sweet, BRAVE, inquisitive, funny, well-adjusted, healthy pup that completes our little family. I could go on and on about him and his cute personality. Thank you, Jam! It's been almost 5 months with him, and he is more than we hoped for. We absolutely love our sweet Archie!

Matt from Pawfection told me he refers all his clients to her who are looking for longer pet sitting, and no one has come back disappointed. Overall impression: I cannot speak more highly of Kimberley and Bowser's Buddy Pet Care! She was extremely professional and accommodating and made me feel like part of the Bowser's family from day one! More details: Kimberley is the epitome of professionalism. I really appreciated how she: - validated my sad feelings that I couldn't take him on the trip - had me over the weekend before my trip to see her space and meet the other dogs she was currently taking care of - was in constant contact about times/dates and how my dog Reeses was doing while I was gone - communicated (quickly) with me whenever I sent her a text message or gave her a call - loves my dog like her own (and he loves her back!) Pro-tip: Kim's place is dog HEAVEN. Very dog-friendly and lots of things to keep them entertained and comfortable: doggy door, fenced-in grassy yard, orthopedic beds, etc. etc. She doesn't give discounts, but it's totally worth the price, and that's coming from a med student in tons of debt currently!
