I was feeling like I must be one of those one star folks who had said something wrong in her application, and they were black listing me already. I was pretty deflated. Imagine my delight when I got an email to make an appointment on Friday, and got to head up and meet said dream-pup that same day. We hit it off, so we went to pick up the boss (our other dog), and see what she thought of him. She wasn't impressed, and he was intimidated, but she warmed up to him (defined as "ignored") more quickly than some other dogs she's met. We hung out in the yard for a bit to see how things would unfold, and it went better than we had anticipated. We decided to give it a whirl and bring him home, and are so glad we did. The dogs are totally getting along (after drawing some boundaries at home of course), and starting to play and sleep all cuddled up together. SUCCESS!! Cheryl and Abby were super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. This is a beautiful temporary home for these rescued pups, and the folks working there clearly care so much about them. A million thank yous for helping us add a new little lovebug to the family. Edgar (now Poe) has his forever home!

Although it's not a…read moreforever home, it is a gorgeous sanctuary for dogs to leave the streets and shelter for some decompression in Sonoma County. My dog Cherly was a homeless hound from Oklahoma who lived at the Big Dog Rescue for a year and a half of her life. Cheryl saved my girl and gave her a chance even though no one wanted her as she was one of their long term residents. This peaceful palace is a fully fenced sanctuary. Cheryl (the owner) and staff has put so much love and care into her passions. They dogs she's rehabilitated, the care they receive, they support they get. You have to be one lucky pup to be at the Big Dog. My dog loves coming back to the Big Dog for visits. She's super excited and happy. Cheryl wants to make sure her dogs are going to the home that is the perfect match. She will carefully screen as every rescue should do. I've read some of the 1 star reviews on here. And Cheryl is right, dogs are not ment to spend hours outside. What if it's hot? She is correct and has every right to be concerned where her dogs are placed. If you are not a good fit of she is not comfortable with your household, then I'm sure there is another match out there waiting for you to save them.

I rarely write reviews, but people need to be warned…read more I paid $3,500 for a French Bulldog from this breeder and was told the dog was AKC registered. After reviewing the paperwork myself, I had serious concerns about its legitimacy. Now, at just THREE YEARS OLD, my dog is losing bladder control and quickly becoming paralyzed. This has been absolutely devastating for my family--especially my youngest daughter, who is heartbroken watching her dog decline like this.(myself included) From the beginning, my dog has had ongoing health issues, including severe allergies requiring constant vet visits, Cytopoint injections, and expensive specialty food. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. I've since learned more about serious conditions like IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), which can be more common when breeding is not done responsibly. Based on my experience, this raises major concerns. I will also say this: my interaction with this seller felt unusual. Meetings were arranged in public locations rather than at a residence, and I was never given a clear sense of where the dogs were being raised. Looking back, that lack of transparency is something I would not overlook again. In my opinion, charging a premium price for a dog that develops severe, disabling health conditions this early in life is unacceptable. Do your homework. Ask hard questions. Verify everything independently. Learn from my experience.

From…read morestart to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and so easy--communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring every step of the way. We selected our baby girl about a month ago, and she has been an absolute dream. She came fully potty trained and is the sweetest, most cuddly, playful, and friendly kitten. Truly, she is the best cat I've ever had. She's admired by everyone who meets her--family and friends are obsessed! My brother even calls her the "beauty queen" and says she's the prettiest cat he's ever seen. What impressed us most is her temperament. She's wonderful with other pets--my mom brings her dog over and our kitten is gentle and unbothered, and she's even fascinated (in the cutest way) by our bearded dragon. That speaks volumes about the care and socialization Irina provides. Irina is a trusted breeder who clearly puts so much love, intention, and expertise into raising top-notch kitties. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and will absolutely be back in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

Kind, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. As first time kitten owners, we had countless questions, and she was always so patient, responsive, and genuinely supportive every step of the way. What truly sets Irina apart is how much she cares beyond just the pickup day. She was there for us before, during, and even after bringing our kitten home, which meant more to us than anything having never dealt with a kitten before. You can tell she puts so much love, time, and intention into raising her kittens. Our kitten is everything we could have hoped for. She is affectionate, playful, cuddly, well socialized, and adored by everyone who meets her. She adjusted to us and even our puppy seamlessly and has been an absolute dream with zero issues. We feel unbelievably lucky to have her in our lives. I cannot recommend Irina highly enough. If you are considering working with her, don't hesitate. You'll be glad you did!
