This is the worst daycare ever. My 19 month old was coming home with bruises on his legs and on one…read moreoccasion in a 2 week period he ended up falling down outside and got a pepperoni sized bump near his eyebrow and nobody from the daycare called to inform me of this............I voiced my concerns to Tammy the director/ owner she then threw it on my by saying that "I wasn't adjusting to the daycare well". The next morning I called another daycare and I asked about availability and Tammy found out about it she then questioned me for inquiring about another daycare. She then told me that "sometimes it's just not a good fit" right after she offered me a check for my full registration fee and 2 full weeks of tuition so that I could leave the daycare. I removed my son from this no good daycare as I was in disbelief of what had just happened. I lost complete confidence and gained total disrespect for the management. I never would leave my son in the care of these people who showed no care for him by making it seem as if he was an inconvenience to them... a 19 month old baby. Then I was blamed for their negligence. On several occasions I'd walk into the toddler room to find my son crying and just left alone. Amanda in the front desk has no respect for the schoolers as she talks to them like a drill sergeant. DON'T take your kids here!

I am parent that have had 3 children at Matzke Elementary School. Under the old principal Mrs. Pope…read moreshe was kind, understanding, patient, and conscientious of parents' requests/needs. This year is a new principal, Ms. Cathy Jacobs is ridiculous! She offered me absolutely zero empathy or apology for any inconvenience to my circumstance. She simply repeated herself 3 times, as if I'm stupid or hard of hearing. I have enjoyed visiting with my children's teachers, peers, and most importantly my child at the end of the year holiday party. Apparently, there's a hard copy of a "News Letter" that I was suppose to receive and did NOT. I was suppose to get an email but got an email 2 day before the said event and the slots were full, when I sent 2 notes to the teacher 2 weeks prior to the event. My daughter said the teacher would email me and did not receive anything. This is not the first time that the lack of organization and communication has kept me from enjoying some time with my child. Oh and by the way, my email has not changed in 10 years! I am extremely dissatisfied with the principal her apparent lack of basic sense of humanity!

As a parent I have access to each teacher. I have never seen a school that is more dedicated to training students in academics and the Christian faith. If I had the opportunity to choose a school again, I would absolutely pick CCS again. I made so many wonderful friends and learned so much during my time there. Initially, I was not in favor of public school and put my daughter in a charter school for kindergarten. There, I learned that smaller classes don't mean a better education. After a rough start there, I did a little more work on finding the positive attributes of public school. Cy-Fair really changed my outlook. While the elementary schools hover at around 1000 students each, I've learned that the teachers and staff can make that seem less overwhelming. Plus, an active PTO throughout makes up in the areas where the school needs help. My daughter is entering her third year at public school and loves it. I am so pleased Cy-Fair proved to me that public school is still a viable option even in a huge metropolitan area.
